The New Kid [Rafe X Reader]

I finally was awake? My body felt weak. My eyes felt heavy, my breathing was heavy. I heard beeping, it was slow like at a pace. My vision was blurry, but i could make out something next to me on the bed, it was definitely heavy, wearing a white top, blonde/brown hair.

"Mmm" i stirred, i rubbed my eyes and face. God it hurt to move my arms and fingers.

I streched my legs, and the thing next to me moved.
"The fu-. Y/n? Y/n? Are you awake, y/n can you hear me?" Fuck it was Rafe, rafe! Of all people?

"Yes, yes i can here you. Why are you here?" I say sitting up
"Because, because i just. Its so my fault y/n i dragged you out to the docks." He looked worried. Rafe mother fucking Cameron was worried about me?
I stayed there silent.
"Just, im sorry y/n about everything, about lying to you, about everything..."

"Okay? Rafe are you getting to a point or something?" I say looking questionable
"I was scared. About us- me and you, you know? Ive never neen in a relationship like this before and i guess im just scared about commitment, i know its stupid and what not. But i think im so fucking in love with you, and i was so stupid for getting into my own head."

"Thats not a good enough excuse but i guess ill take it" i say. I looked at him and Rafe looked genuinely scared and worried. And it was like what he said was true? "Were you really worried about me Rafe? How long have you been here for?"

"A couple days, took a lot of convincing to be allowed in, seems like everyone has a problem with me" he huffs.
"About your stuff im sorry, and about everything dont worry about it, im actually kind of glad you're here, i like your company" i say grabbing his hand.
"Im so glad your awake" he comes in to hug me and buries his head into my shoulder. "Thankyou so much" i he mutters and voice almost breaking.

Rafe ends up laying on the bed, next to me i lay down again. Rafe cuddles into my chest and wraps his arm around my waist. My free hand runs up and down his back.

Hey everyone, sorry for my long break! Been busy with college recently and before it was some issues in my head, and some family stuff.

But i hope you like this one and there could be some more i just dont know what to write. Got no ideas.
