There also isn't exactly a formal for this either. And probably for now on.
Let's just say, both Sprout and Cosmo are gonna face some things they won't really like. Wink wink.

All the toons were hanging in the main lobby, Cosmo being by himself. He had been talking to Sprout earlier of course! Though, berry boy had randomly ditched him. He had been doing that a lot more frequently, just leaving out of no where and letting Cosmo wait for sometimes hours on end. At this point Cosmo expected it. Cosmo let out a sad sigh, thinking about what Glisten said. Maybe this wasn't really...working out anymore. But he couldn't just break up with him cause of that! Cosmo wasn't exactly sure the reason of "I feel like your neglecting our relationship and it makes me sad." Was a valid reason. Which, probably is.

Cosmo remained lost in thought, so lost in thought in fact he didn't notice Dandy approaching and sitting next to him
And suddenly all thoughts clouding his mind were interrupted by Dandy's voice.
"Hey...why so sad, hm?"
Dandy's head tilted as Cosmo sat up straight and responded nervously.
"Oh! Just..uh, not feeling best I suppose..."
Cosmo gave a nervous smile. It was a bit odd for Dandy out of all toons to speak to him. Already surprisingly enough himself as a common got in a relationship with a main toon. A main toon that cheats that is.
Dandy stared at Cosmo blankly before smiling. A bit mischievously
"Because of Sprout, right?"
"...how did you know—"
Dandy cut him off
"It's pretty obvious with the way he's been treating you..you know?"
Dandy wrapped an arm around Cosmo's shoulder, pulling him closer to his side. Which, Cosmo shifted almost uncomfortably at.
"..why do you mean? Sprout treats me completely fine!"
Cosmo said, almost defensively. Pretty clear he was a bit in denial
"Oh my sweet sweet pastry, your too naive for your own good...."
Cosmo's face flushed red unwillingly at the nickname thingy. Dandy continued
"But speaking of the strawberry! I think there's something you should be aware of. In relation to what Glisten told you."
"...what do you even mean. And how do you know about that as well?"
Cosmo was confused, very confused.
"I know a lot of things, honey. Now let's go somewhere a bit more private! Shall we?"

Dandy stood up, gently grabbing Cosmo's arm and gesturing him to follow. Which, Cosmo hesitantly complied with. The pet names adding on to his confusion.
Dandy led the both of them to a area in the lobby further away from the rest of the toons around the right corner. Now in the dark corner Dandy began talking
before Cosmo had a chance to open his mouth. Smirking a bit since he found the fact we was going to ruin a relationship a big comedic. However! He wasn't necessarily ruining it, Sprout was.
"So...how to say this....I guess I'll just be blunt!"
"Go on...."
"Sprouts cheating on you with my boyfriend."
Cosmo's eyes widen slightly, and they both just stared at eachother. Cosmo responded, voice being a bit shaky now that he's finding his boyfriend and one of his bestest friends doesn't really love him anymore.
"What....."
"I know...truly tragic for you to find out this way. Really did break my heart when I found out too...."
Dandy attempted to sound sad, although he found this a little funny. He couldn't really help but grab Cosmo's waist and pull him a bit closer
"A-ah...I see....he has been acting a little strange lately so.."
Cosmo muttered, sniffing a little bit and holding back tears. Dandy patted his head, which caused him to mess up Cosmo's frosting a bit."
"Yes, truly unfortunate they could do this to us....you know Cosmo. If you ever need someone to talk to about this I'm always here for you dear..."
Cosmo wiped away the tears forming in his eyes, smiling gently at Dandy's word. Completely oblivious this flower is a lying, evil little rat!!!
"Thank you Dandy..I really appreciate it and thank you for telling me...."
"No problem...and now come to think of it..I'm going to go settle some things with Astro. Though I do recommend you do the same with Sprout..just, take your time, okay?"
"Mhm...right"
Dandy let go of Cosmo's waist, and quickly just left. Leaving Cosmo alone like previously
Now that no one was around to watch the tears that had been threatening to fall, had fell.
How could he be so stupid and naïve?...it was plain to see, Sprout deserved so much better. Someone like Astro. Or that's what he told himself...maybe he just wasn't enough. Maybe Sprout just needed more than him.
Cosmo sighed, leaving the corner and going back to where the elevators were so he could go cry in his room and think about how he's gonna go through with the break up or something like that. Dandy had already left.
