Author's POV

The church bells rang softly in the distance as the evening sun bathed the meadow in hues of gold and pink. The scene was dreamlike-rows of seats arranged neatly on either side of a white petal-strewn aisle, an arch draped with wisteria and roses standing proud at the altar, and the faint hum of violins floating in the warm summer air.

Beomgyu stood just beyond the arch, his fingers nervously clutching the hem of his jacket. The pale blue suit he wore fit him perfectly, but nothing could calm the storm of emotions in his chest. Excitement, disbelief, and a hint of nervousness all tangled together, making his heart race.

"Hey, stop messing with your suit, or you're going to wrinkle it," Heeseung teased, stepping up beside him.

As Yeonjun's best man, Heeseung looked impeccable in his dark gray suit, the hint of humor in his eyes calming Beomgyu more than any pep talk could. "You're nervous, aren't you?" Heeseung said, his tone light.

"Maybe a little," Beomgyu admitted, though his trembling hands gave him away.

Heeseung smiled softly. "You've got nothing to worry about. You're about to marry the man who crossed worlds for you. If that doesn't tell you how much he loves you, I don't know what will."

Beomgyu chuckled at that, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "You're right. It's just... surreal, you know?" He looked at Heeseung, his eyes wide. "Five years ago, I didn't even know if I'd ever see him again. And now-"

"And now you're about to be his husband," Heeseung finished for him, clapping a reassuring hand on Beomgyu's shoulder. "It's exactly where you're meant to be."

Before Beomgyu could respond, the soft notes of a violin began to play-a melody that made his heart skip a beat. It was the song Yeonjun had written for him,

Blue Hour...

The song that became his favourite the second he heard it.

The crowd turned toward the entrance, and Beomgyu's breath hitched.

There he was.

Yeonjun stepped into view, dressed in a sleek white suit that seemed to glow in the golden light of the setting sun. A soft smile graced his lips, but it was his eyes-bright, warm, and fixed solely on Beomgyu-that made the world stand still.

Beomgyu felt a tear slip down his cheek as Yeonjun made his way down the aisle. Each step felt deliberate, as though Yeonjun was walking not just toward Beomgyu, but toward their shared future. By the time he reached the altar, Beomgyu was certain his heart might burst.

"Hi," Yeonjun whispered, his smile widening as he took Beomgyu's hands.

"Hi," Beomgyu whispered back, his voice trembling with emotion.

The officiant began to speak, but Beomgyu barely heard the words. His focus was entirely on Yeonjun-on the way his lips twitched into a smile every time their eyes met, on the warmth of his hands, and on the overwhelming love shining in his gaze.

When it was time for the vows, Yeonjun spoke first.

"Beomgyu," he began, his voice steady but thick with emotion, "I've crossed worlds for you, but I'd cross a thousand more if it meant I could be by your side. You're my muse, my light, my reason for every note I sing and every step I take. I promise to love you with everything I have, to hold your hand through every storm, and to spend my life reminding you that you're the greatest masterpiece I've ever known. You are my heart, my home, and my forever."

Beomgyu's tears spilled freely now, his heart swelling with so much love he thought it might break.

When it was his turn, he took a shaky breath, his hands tightening around Yeonjun's.
