"Ok, if you could take out 'Arcane Chronicles: A Journey Through Magical History and Literature', that'd be amazing," Lewis instructed as he turned to face the board and began writing with the piece of chalk.

Following as told; Isadora reached for her bag and pulled out the red textbook. Landing on her desk with a loud 'thud', she flipped through its contents, only stopping at the desired page. "As I mentioned last class, we'll be covering the topic of Ancient Magic. Chapter one is about the origins of magic, magic in ancient civilizations, and legends."

Puzzled, Isadora grabbed her notebook and opened it to the first page— blank. Noticing her puzzled expression, he turned his head at a slight angle and silently mouthed 'Before you got here'.

Nodding her head in understanding, Isadora began to skim over the contents of the first unit, biding her time until Lewis declared himself prepared to begin the lesson. Fortunately, she didn't have to wait long as he loudly cleared his throat, gaining the attention of his class.

"We're starting off with 'The Planets of the Magic Dimension and Their Ancient Magic'," he said, opening his own textbook and flipping to the proper pages before beginning.
