Prompt: your prank on your wife goes wrong

You were sat at your desk in the office with Autumn, Janice and Reece since you were an assistant manager at the nursery and you used to work at the nursery with Janice before that nursery merged with the Knight nursery, the good thing that came from the merge is that you know worked in the same building as your wife who was the chef at the nursery and you loved that you didn't have to take two cars anymore and only took the one car especially at the moment since you were 38 weeks pregnant so it was hard for you to drive at the moment; shifting in your chair to get comfy since your baby was kicking your ribs when you heard "you okay Y/N" come from Autumn and you nodded before rubbing the top of your bump "yeah Aut, just kicks to the rib again" you say with a wince after feeling a sharp kick to your ribs "sounds painful" you heard come from Reece this time and you nodded before moving to stand up seeing if the movement would stop the kicking feeling but before you could move to stand up you heard a knock on the door and turned to see your wife stood there with papers in her hand "yes Chef" you heard Autumn say and you narrow your eyes at your wife but stayed seated "I have that paperwork you wanted for the next month" you heard your wife say before seeing her enter the room and hand Autumn the paperwork before seeing her turn to you "you feeling okay, no pains or anything" you heard her ask and you nod at her "thought that was the reason but I'm okay and no" you say with narrowed eyes and see your wife nod at you before she left the room. Watching your wife leave the room you just shake your head at her "that's the second time she has been in this room in the last hour" you heard Janice say and you nod at Janice's words "she's gone nuts I'm telling you all, she is like this at home as well" you say and felt your body relax when you noticed the kicking in your ribs had stopped "I'm guessing she is nervous about you being in labour since you have what two weeks to go" you heard Autumn say and you nod at her "yeah, two weeks to go but she is only like this because we had our 38 week appointment yesterday and got told bubba could come anytime" you explain before turning back to your computer "wow, when do you go on mat leave" you get asked by Reece and you look at him over your computer "this Friday is my last day so have fun with my wife next week when I'm not here" you say with a smirk and saw the three other managers look at you with wide eyes before hearing "can you not take your wife with you until the baby has arrived" come from Janice and you just chuckle at your friends words before shaking your head at her "no, you will be fine" you say before returning your focus back to your work whilst chuckling at your friends reaction to realising they would have to deal with your wife on their own after Friday.

You were still in the office but was stood at the printer this time and let out a sigh when you saw your wife walk past the office two times before hearing her walk into the office "Janice, what is your lunch preference today are you having nursery lunch or have you got your own today" you heard her ask Janice and you hold back the laugh that wanted to come out since you knew she was only asking as an excuse to check on you since she had done this another 4 times since the last time she came in to give Autumn the paperwork and you were getting annoyed with her for keep on checking on you because everytime she leaves the office she makes sure you were okay or the one that had Janice and Reece laughing was when she asked 'do you need a blanket so the baby wouldn't get cold' but you knew she was nervous about you going into labour at any moment, you turned to look over your shoulder to see your wife go to speak but you just smile at her "I'm fine, I've got back ache but bubba is heavy so go back to work and if I need you I will get someone to come get you if needed" you say to her and see her rush over to you and felt her place a kiss on your forehead before seeing her rush out the room when you nodded at her and when you knew she wasn't in ear shot you waddled over to the door and shut it before turning to look at Autumn, Janice and Reece "I need your help" you say to them with a small smirk on you're a face "what are you planning" you heard Janice say and you just smile at her "get me water and let me do the rest but you need to play along with this since I want to mess with my wife" you say and see Autumn pass you a bottle of water from her desk. Taking the bottle from Autumn you unscrew it "you don't need this do you Autumn" you ask her since it was half full and see Autumn shake her head at you "no, do what you have planned" you heard her say and you nodded before moving back slightly before pouring the water on the floor before standing in it so it looked like you're water had broken and you looked up at the other managers who were watching you with amusement in their eyes, you bent slightly before letting out a low groan before standing up straight "believable or what" you say and see them nod at you and once you knew it would be believable you passed Autumn the water bottle back before bending slightly again and let out a low groan when you heard footsteps before hearing "MARJORIE GET CHEF, Y/N HAS GONE INTO LABOUR" being shouted by Autumn and you looked up from where you were bent to see Marjorie stood there in the door way before seeing her rush off to do as Autumn asked "breathe Y/N, Chef will be hear soon" you heard Janice say and you wanted to laugh since they were playing along like you asked "Y/N do you need anything" you heard Reece ask and you shake your head before gritting your teeth "NO JUST GET MY WIFE" you shout whilst in 'pain' and soon heard footsteps rushing down the corridor but heard "GET OUT MY WAY, MY WIFE IS HAVING A BABY MOVE IT YOU ARSES" being shouted and you knew it was your wife who had shouted and you felt Autumn 'rub' your back to help with the 'pain' and you looked up to see your wife crash into the wall slightly as she made it into the room "I'm here, lets go my darling, how are you feeling any more contractions or anything" you heard her say and you couldn't hold it anymore and burst into laughter and stood up straight from where you were bent against the desk and turned to face her "they've stopped now, I think I just peed sorry for causing you to panic" you say and slowly move closer to her and see her jaw drop "ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS" you heard her shout and you nod at her "yeah, sorry darling" you say and watched as she shook her head at you "I thought you was being serious, how could you do that when you know I'm panicked as it is" you heard her say and you nod at her before cupping her face "I did it because you have been annoying me all day with your excuses to come to the office to check up on me, so I decided to have fun" you say with a small smirk on your face and saw her nod at your words "okay, I'm sorry for being overbearing but don't do this again my heart dropped when Marjorie told me you were in labour" you heard her say and you nodded before giving her a kiss "I won't I promise" you say before letting her go and see her leave the room to go back to the kitchen.
