Winter was working in the preschool room when he saw Autumn come into the room "my sweet, there is a call for you" he heard Autumn say to him and he could tell she was confused by her voice "thank you my love" he says to her before leaving the room and followed Autumn back to the office, walking into the office he gently picked up the phone and brought it to his ear "hello" he says down the phone and heard "hi dad, sorry for ringing you at work but my waters have broken and this baby is on the way" come from you and he tried to keep his composure since nobody at his work knew he had a 18 years old daughter who was know in labour "okay, stay calm and I'll be there shortly, where are you" he asked calmly to you and heard you take a breath before hearing you let it out followed by a slight groan "at home still, my contractions are every 15 minutes" he heard you explain and he relaxed knowing that your baby wasn't coming right this second "okay, I'll come get you now" he says before hanging up the phone and turned to face Autumn and Marjorie who was watching him "I'm sorry but I need to go, it's urgent that I go now" he says quickly and saw Marjorie nod at him "that's fine you go, I will cover you in the room" he heard Marjorie say to him and he smiled at her in thanks before turning to Autumn "I will explain when I can my love" he says before giving her a quicky kiss on the lips which was out of character for them to show PDA before rushing out the room and getting his stuff before leaving to collect you. After collecting you from the house he quickly made his way to the hospital, he never left you on your own during the whole of your labour and from the messages he was getting from Autumn he knew that he would have to ask you if he could introduce you to Autumn, he say by your side as you pushed and when he heard the cry of his grandchild it was the second most amazing sound he had heard since hearing your cry for the first time after you were born was the best thing he had heard and he was shocked that you told him to cut the cord which he did but stayed away from seeing anything down below which he heard you chuckle at him which he ignored and came back to your side "I'm proud of you my little one" he said to you and saw you look up at him and he could see the tears in your eyes "thank you dad, thank you for staying with me and not leaving me at all over these last 9 months" he heard you say to him softly and he bent down to give you a kiss on the forehead before moving out the way slightly so the nurse could gently grab the baby from your chest "dad, can you go with them so I know my baby isn't on their own" he heard you ask and he nodded before following the nurse who had he grandchild over to the side and watched as they gently cleaned the baby before wrapping them up and gently let them rest the baby in his arms and he walked over to you slowly "little one, meet your son" he says and gently passed his grandson back to you and heard a little gasp come from you and heard "hi Leo Winter Fortune" come from you when you had his grandson in your arms and he felt tears form in his eyes when he heard his name as his grandsons middle name.

You had been home for 2 days with your newborn son and you were thankful for your dad who had took 2 days annual leave to be with you to help you out but knew after today during the day you were going to be on your own and was starting to feel panicked but knew your dad had told you that you could ring him if you needed him for anything which made you relax slightly but you were still scared to be on your own with a newborn but knew you would manage, you were sat on the couch feeding Leo when your dad came in and you pulled the cover you had next to you over your shoulder so your dad couldn't see anything "little one, this is your home you don't need to cover yourself, I understand you have to feed Leo okay" you heard him say but you still kept the cover over your shoulder and saw your dad sit on the couch next to you "so I have to ask you something" you heard him say and you turn to look at him properly whilst making sure Leo was still eating "yeah dad" you ask him and heard him sigh slightly "you know I've been dating someone for a few months now" you heard him start to speak and you knew what he was going to ask but waited for him to say it instead of jumping ahead "I was wondering if you were up for meeting her, I could bring her here so you don't have to move as much yet since I know your still recovering" you heard him ask and you smiled at him gently and took hold of his hand "dad, ask her to come round after her shift today because I can tell keeping this from her is killing you slowly" you say to him softly but took your attention of him when you felt Leo unlatch and you moved him to your shoulder to burp whilst turning back to your dad and saw him smile at you widely "really, but you just had Leo don't you want to wait a few days to recover more" you heard him ask and you chuckled at him since he always put you first but know it was time for him to be happy "dad, message her or ring her because this is killing you okay, I'll be fine and it will be nice to have someone else to talk to" you say to him and saw him pull out his phone and text on it before seeing his smile get wider "she is coming round here for 5pm" you heard him say and you just lean back in the couch and moved Leo to your chest "that's great, it gives us time to tidy a bit before she comes round, does she know anything or is she completely in the dark" you ask him and watched him stand up and start to tidy things away "I will tidy up and you just rest but if you want a shower then I will watch Leo for you before she comes and she doesn't know anything at all" you hear him say and you nodded at him before slowly moving to stand up which made you groan since you were still sore from giving birth 3 days ago but stood up and moved to place Leo in the bassinette "let me move around for a bit okay, I will move the washing off the table and put it in my room since it is all Leo's clothes that I need to put away, I have the monitor but can you watch him whilst I take it up" you say to your dad and see him nod at you "okay, but don't over do it, you gave birth 3 days ago" you heard him say and you nod at him this time before leaving the room with the monitor in your pocket. You had put Leo's clothes away in the nursery and had a shower whilst your dad watched Leo for you and know you were back in the living room doing skin to skin with Leo who was fast asleep on your chest but you made sure to cover him with a light blanket since it was warm in the house but you didn't want him to get a chill still but it also covered you since you weren't wearing a top or bra and didn't want your dad or anyone to see your chest, making sure Leo was still asleep you heard the door being knocked on and heard "I've got it" come from the hallway and you strained your neck to see your dad rushing down the hallway to answer the door but heard him grumble "need to put a sign on the door so they don't wake Leo up" which made you shake your head at him since you found it funny how he was protective of you and Leo but also found it cute that he was like that, ignoring the voices you could hear in the hallway you turned your attention back to your son who was moving slight and rubbed his back to soothe him back to sleep and looked up when you saw your dad and a red head woman walk into the room behind him and saw her eyes look at you before looking around the room before hearing "my love, this my daughter Y/N and Y/N this is my girlfriend Autumn" come from your dad and you smiled at her gently and see her nod at you but knew from where she was stood she hadn't seen Leo on your chest.
