It was Monday. Graduation. But how could Craig even thing about it? He had made his exams perfectly, he thought, because everything was fine when he made it. Now nothing was anymore.
Tweek was dead.
Craig had been home, crying, ever since he had found his bleeding lover in the bathroom. His grandmother did what she could, and tried to comfort him. But the traumatic sight kept haunting his thoughts.
He had seen the lifeless body. And he had held it shortly, crying miserably. But then he knew he had to do something, so he had gotten up and dialled 911. Ambulance and police had arrived quickly. But there was nothing they could do.
Tweek was gone.
And he had left Craig sad and clueless.
"Was I that bad of a boyfriend?"
"Did you see yourself in such a bad light?"
"Why? Why?!" Were things he cried none stop.Craig laid on his bed, his eyes red and swollen from all the crying, but he was currently quiet. someone knocked on his door.
His grandmother entered she had a sad and concerned look on her face. "I found his phone. Maybe you should call his father" she placed it on his nightstand, gave him a sad smile and left again.
He hadn't thought about calling Tw...his father, actually. He knew he should.
Craig collected his strength and sat up in his bed. He grabbed the phone and held it for a moment. It felt so wrong now that it didn't have an owner anymore.
He unlocked it and looked at the background. Craig had installed and made it himself. It was a picture of Tweek sitting in the meadow, just staring somewhat slightly off from the camera, while Craig kissed his cheek and made the picture.
It made him sad, but he was too exhausted to cry. He had cried for two nights. He went to the contacts and called the contact named 'dad'.
He held the phone against his ear, hesitating.
"Mr. Tweak" a firm, stern voice answered.
"Sir? My name is Craig Tucker. We kind of met. I'm fr...friends with your son" ha. Friends. Craig's voice sounded small and broken. Like he felt.
It was quiet for a moment.
"Tweek, huh? How is he?"his name. It made Craig shiver. The air felt so cold all of the sudden.
"Not so well, sir. Tw-"he stopped. "He passed, sir" saying it out loud, to someone else, made it so real.
Silence.
"He's dead?" Mr. Tweak didn't sound stern or firm anymore. He sounded shocked and...sad.
"Yes....."he softly confirmed.
Silence.
"How?"
"He.... Killed himself. S-slid his wrists and sw-swallowed pills" his voice was shaking, but he tried to stay professional. Like he was a doctor, informing a family of their loss. And he hadn't known the patient.
Silence.
"And...how are you?"
Craig was shocked. No one had asked him that yet. He didn't know what to answer. He didn't know how to describe what he felt. He wanted to be honest.
"Im heartbroken, sir. I loved your son more than I loved myself. Im the saddest and most scared I have ever been, and ever will be. It feels like all there's left in life is darkness. There is no light, no happiness and no future. Im confused. Alone. Empty. And pretty much dead as well" it spilled out of him like a river. He had wanted to empty his heart, but didn't know that until now.
"You loved him?"
"Yes , sir. With heart and soul"
"Did he love you?"
"I believe so. Yes"
"Then I have to thank you. For giving him a nice few last days, and for loving him. You don't know, but Tweek has had a rough time. I haven't threaten him rightly. Ill never get to make it up to him... He needed some love"
Craig didn't know what to answer, so he stayed quiet.
"I leave all the funeral decisions with you" Craig said.
"Where is he now?"
"The funerul centre. Ill...have him brought to you"
"Thank you.....Craig was it?"
"Yes. Craig Tucker"
"Bye Craig"
He took the phone off of his ear and hung up.
He stared to the background again. It seemed so long ago. Craig started going through the phone, knowing he wouldn't mind. There wasn't much. Until he came to recordings.
There was a recording made Saturday. A few minutes before Craig had found Tweek.
Craig whistled between his teeth, Coffee entered the bed room.
"Listen with me" he whispered to the dog.
Craig had decided to keep Coffee, it cost quite some money, but it was worth it.
He pressed play.
'It made a sound. Does that mean it's recording? It better be'
It was Tweek's voice. Full of life. Coffee's ear arose. He heard his master's voice.
'Craig. I hope and pray that you'll hear this someday, because this is.... My suicide note'
Craig held a hand in front of his mouth and let himself fall back on his bed again.
'There are a few things you should know. First of all. This isn't your fault. It is no one's. Dont ever blame yourself or anyone else for my death. Understand? It's important that you live your life like you would if you'd never met me. I want you to be happy. To be free. Okay? Please promise me that'
"I promise" Craig whispered out loud. He closed his eyes. It was like Tweek was laying right next to him.
'Secondly. I love you. I love you so dearly. So deeply. So much. I hoped, wished and dreamed that maybe someday we would live together. Have a family...children even maybe. But that's impossible. I can't raise a child. And you can't help me the rest of your life. No matter where I go... Ill always be a burden. Someone will always have to help me. And I can't do that to the people who love me. My dad couldn't handle it and it changed the way he was. I don't want you to grow bitter.
'Then, lastly, take care of yourself. Leave South Park, like you had planned to do. And make sure your father doesn't get to you. Return when he's been arrested and testify against him. I know that's hard. But if you don't tell them you've personally seen your father kill your mother, then he maybe will be sentenced not guilty. Make sure he gets what he deserves. And when you return to South Park, find yourself a partner. Someone with working eyes'
"But I only love you, Tweek"
'I understand that seems imposssible...because what we had was special. But.... Please try. Live on. You'll find a nice girl, the mother of your children. Or a nice man, who will be able to love you like I did'
"But I won't love them like I loved you"
'Take care of Coffee. He was my best and only friend....even though he's a dog. Tell Butters and Kenny farewell and....tell my father I love him anyways'
"I will, my love"
'Im no longer a burden. Im with my mother. Im happy. Ill wait for you. I love you, Craig Tucker. I love you so much. Forever'
That was the end. There was nothing more left from Tweek Tweak.
Craig had to live on....
-------
Less than two hours later he stood with Coffee and a big suite case at the airport. His earned diploma sticking out of his jacket pocket. He walked up to the help desk and smiled to the steward standing behind it. He had gold blonde hair and light blue eyes. It sounds like Tweek, but there facial features were very different.
"May I help you, sir?"
"I need the first plane anywhere"
"Hmm that's not specific. Lets see what we have. There leaves a plane to Columbus, Ohio in about three and a half hours"
"Nothing sooner?"
"No, sorry, those planes are all full"
"Ohio is fine"
"Passport please?"
Craig placed his passport on the counter and the man looked at it.
"Craig Tucker...."he mumbled.
"Yeah" Craig read the steward's name tag. "Bradley. Wow, Bradley Biggles? Didn't you used to live in South Park?"
"I did. I moved away a few years ago. Hey, I know you. You always hung out with Clyde, Token and those people, right?"
"Yepp"
"So why are you so eager to leave?"
"I need to forget some things that happened. This town just keeps reminding me"
"I understand. Well, I hope you'll be better off in Ohio"
"Thank you. Aren't you a little young to work here"
"I just started. This is my first week"
"Well, good luck"
"You too" Bradley printed out the ticket and handed it to Craig. "Checking in can be done in about two hours, the dog needs to be brought the gate 14"
"Okay, thank you... And goodbye"
"Forever?"
"Well.... Maybe not"
Bradley smiled and waved as Craig turned around to sit down on a bench outside. Coffee sat down on the floor next to it and Craig petted its head.
"We miss you Tweek" Craig softly whispered.
He felt a cold wave and somehow.... Knew it was Tweek.
He lit a cigarette and smiled. Tweek was happy, so was he.--------
AN: so that was the first ending. Ill write and publish the second one soon hopefully
