Craig's POW
It has been a week since I first met him, and I was starting to doubt myself over his existence. I hadn't seen him since the day we went to the park together. And I hadn't heard from him either. I didn't even get in trouble for ditching. More and more proof that it was a dream. I went back to the park every day, just to think. Sometimes about him, about what to do, about school and about...what I had felt when I was with him. Today I was in the meadow again, making homework this time. I worked really hard this school year because I wanted to pass my exams and leave this fucking mountain town. I wanted to find out my parents' old city and live there. Not because my memories of them were so great, but because I love the city. This quiet, little, redneck mountain town was just too quiet, little and redneck for me. Everyone knew everything about you, and even though my mother died ages ago, people sometimes still told me they were sorry for my loss. Of course, they didn't knew I had seen everything happen, they thought I ran away before my mom died. I didn't want anyone to know, even my grandma, they would just think it damaged me and then I would have to go see a stupid therapist or something.
I was making my homework in the meadow as a familiar voice made me look up from my textbook. I saw Butters and Kenny walking with Kenny's dog down the hill. Butters looked up and saw me. He waved, nudged Kenny and they both walked up to me.
"Hiya Craig!"Butters greeted.
I looked up at them. "Hey" I really didn't feel like having company right now, but one thing did interest me. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Walking the dog"Kenny answered, he didn't really seem to feel like talking either.
"Together?"I smirked. A blush appeared on Butters' face.
"Ow shut up, Tucker"Kenny said playfully.
"Ow c'on. Everyone knows Butters is gay, what about you, McCormick?"I teased.
Butters looked a little irritated at my comment, but after a while his look softened. Probably because he realized I was right.
"Don't call him gay"Kenny was obviously not joking anymore.
"It's okay, Ken"Butters said with a soft smile.
Kenny turned to Butters. "No it's not, people shouldn't call you names like that and you shouldn't just except it"
"But Ken....he's right. I-I am kinda...yeah...y'know"Butters stuttered softly, looking at the ground.
"You're into men?!"Kenny said way too loud. Butters nodded slowly.
"W-well...actually I-I am into y-you, Ken"Butters almost whispered. I looked away as Kenny smacked his lips on Butters'. Well, how cute. I thought about it....Butters:gay...Kenny: gay....me:....
I wouldn't call myself gay, bisexual maybe. Maybe.
I cleared my throat as the two blondes' faces were still attached to each other. They both immediately let go and turned to me with red faces. Kenny coughed.
"Uhum...uhm...Craig...buddy...Can you...uhm...k-keep it quiet?"he said softly.
"Sure, no problem, McCormick"I smiled. They walked away, talking, hand in hand. Cute.
"Too bad I won't see you during lessons because I am in sp-special classes, and all"I heard Butters say. Then it hit me. I jumped up and yelled: "Butters! Wait"
He turned around and faced me. "What's w-wrong, fella?"he asked.
"Nothing, just: Is there a Tweek in your class?"I asked quickly.
"Well, yeah there is, it's the blind kid. Why?"
"Was he present this week?"
"No, he was sick. Do you know him?"
A big smile appeared on my lips. "Thanks, Stotch"I picked up my books and ran past them straight home.
He was real.
It wasn't a dream.
I would see him again.
