Craigs pov
It was Monday and I really really really did not feel like school. I drifted off in a day dream while walking to school. I was too early. It was only 6.30, but yesterday I had nothing to do and I decided to go to sleep around 3 pm. which made me wake up at 3am. today. I arrived at school and sat down on the stairs in front of the double doors. South Park was a weird town, last week I had been in a meadow looking at flowers and today there was a thick layer of fresh snow covering everything. My footsteps were to only pair visible because no one was so stupid to go to school at 6.30. I immediately got proven wrong as a car parking at the school's parking lot. Mr. Havers, the director and my mentor, stepped out of his car. He locked it and started walking towards me. He greeted me, asked me why I was so early, and after I answered, he went inside. I didn't like the man, he didn't like me either. He just acted like he did because he was a teacher. I fell asleep again at about 7.00 and woke up again at 8.00 when some students started arriving. I looked around, my eyes stopped at a weird pair of footprints. I followed them. They started near some car tracks and ended at the school's door. I smiled because I knew these footprints. They were from a dog. I went inside the school and stopped at my locker to get out some books. I knew where I would sit this recess.
The first periods went by extremely slowly. When recess finally came, I bought a cup of coffee at the cafeteria, went to my locker to get my jacket and went to the back of the school. There he was.
Tweek's pov
The sound of a door opening behind me as I placed my hands on the cold snow. The smell of coffee filled my nostrils as I heard snow cracking. Coffee barked, I held him scared.
"It's Craig" a familiar voice said. I immediately calmed down and let go of Coffee. I heard Craig walk around me and sit in front of me.
"Hi"I said softly.
"Hi"he answered.
"Hi"I replied. (maybe hi can be our always)
"How are you doing? Butters told me you were sick" I could hear him take a sip of his coffee. I had always loved the smell of coffee, but I never tasted it. I picked up some snow and held it in my hand.
"Yeah, I am better now"I smiled a little.
"I missed you while you weren't here"Craig whispered.
Did he just say that? Like...did my ears imagine that...or....what?? "What?" I asked.
"Nothing"his voice cracked. "Aren't you cold? You aren't even wearing a jacket"Craig commented.
"I like feeling cold"I wanted to totally punch myself now. Why did I always had to say stupid things that made me sound like a creep? I opened my hand and some melted snow -water- dripped from my palm.
It was quiet for a long time, but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence. It was nice. Even though we didn't spoke, I knew he was there and that made me feel safer.
"What are you thinking about?"Craig asked.
"Coffee"I answered shortly.
"Your dog or my drink?"he chuckled a little.
"Both. I never had coffee though"
"Why not?"
"My dad says I can get addicted to it"
