Knock Knock
“Harry! Get the door!” I yelled, pulling my pillow over my ears and trying to drift back to sleep.
“I'm busy!” he yelled back.
Knock Knock
“Seriously Harry?!” I grunted in annoyance. Well I guess I'd have to answer the door myself. “Coming!” I hopped out of my bed, yawning, and slipped my feet into my slippers.
I unlocked the door to find Louis & Eleanor standing there in the pouring rain. “Take your time!” Louis said, obviously frustrated.
A smirk grew across my face as I leaned against the front door. “Have you recovered yet?” I asked, knowing full well this was going to annoy him more. His eyes narrowed and it was obvious he was about to rant but our stare-off was interrupted by Eleanor.
“We don't talk about last weekend!” she said quickly, smiling sweetly at Louis. I couldn't help laughing. Louis stormed off to Harry's room and I invited Eleanor in.
“Coffee?” I asked as she sat on the sofa.
“Yes please.” A couple of minutes later I emerged in the lounge with two hot mugs of coffee.
“Louis' still angry, I see?” I said, suppressing a giggle.
“Give him a break,” Eleanor laughed.
“It was just a prank though!” I protested. At Truth or Dare last week we decided to pull a prank on the people who were sleeping. Louis was one of them. We dipped their hands in bowls of hot chilli sauce so that when they woke up they would rub it in their eyes. Unfortunately for him, Louis was the only one to fall for it. I started laughing hysterically so, of course, he blamed me for the whole thing and exploded with anger. What made it all the more hilarious was that he was unable to open his eyes so we all just walked away. When he eventually got the sauce of out of his eyes and they had stopped stinging, he came looking for us all and 'gave us a piece of his mind.' Only when he found out Eleanor had devised the plan did he shut up. But apparently, once everyone had left, he said he was 'very disappointed' in her and they didn't talk for three days.
“Yeah well he didn't see the funny side, did he?” she said.
“But we did,” I laughed, “anyway what are you guys doing here?”
“Lou's here to see Harry, they're playing on the Xbox or something stupid,” she explained, rolling here eyes, “and I wanted to talk to you about uni.”
“Oh,” I said, bewildered, “what about it?”
“Sophie you haven't even applied for one yet!”
“I know,” I said defensively, “but I don't know where I'm going to be...”
“Aren't you going to Lancaster?”
“Probably but I don't want to make a decision until the boys have left for London.”
“Why?” she quizzed me.
Why? The word bounced around in my head... why was I so unwilling to prepare for the future? Why was I just going to wait until the boys went away? Why was I avoiding the question? Suddenly the answer hit me. During the last couple of months, I had become dependent on the boys and I couldn't imagine being without them. I was hoping they'd invite me to London, or even on tour, with them. But I couldn't say that to Eleanor. “I don't know,” I sighed.
