"It's like this hole in your heart and you keep expecting for it to close but it doesn't... the hole just keeps getting bigger and suddenly you can't breathe and you find yourself smiling because you know soon it's all going to be over. And then reality hits you so hard, you think God is mocking you," Hanna spoke shakily.
The reporter looked at Hanna with a sympathetic expression before asking her next question. She honestly didn't want to do this but, she knew that her boss would be on her ass so heavy if she didn't get the interview.
"The views will go through the roof. She's Paul Walker's dirty little secret, he couldn't have possibly loved her."
But as Melissa sat across from Hanna, she could tell that Paul loved her with everything he had and vice versa. She couldn't imagine what the young beauty was dealing with.
"Many people think that this is for show and that Paul never really cared about you. What is your response to that?"
Hanna smiled.
"What Paul and I had was very serious and our relationship is something that was special and I had no doubt that Paul loved me with every fiber of his being."
Hanna felt the tears trying to fall and dropped her head.
"Can I have a minute to myself please?"
"Yes, of course you can."
Hanna nodded her head and stood up to leave the room for a quick breather. She closed the door the bathroom and let the heavy sob escape her. She couldn't believe that this was her life now. She didn't exactly place being a single mother at the top of the charts, and to make matters worse their child was a boy. How the hell was she supposed to teach him how to be a man? Her heart broke even more for their son because he would never know how great his father was, she doubted he would even remember him as he got older.
"Get yourself together Hanna. Paul isn't coming back."
Looking at herself in the mirror, she could see how broken she really was. Closing her eyes, she allowed her mind to take her back to when her privacy was invaded and hearing Paul's soothing voice.

"It has come to our attention that Paul wasn't as squeaky clean when it come to his personal life as some would've thought. Turns out Paul has a secret girlfriend and he had plans on leaving his current girlfriend to be with her and their child, that's right his child. We have reached o-"
Hanna shut the TV off. It had only been a day since Paul's death and all she wanted was to grieve in peace. She turned over on her side and stroked Paulie's cheek. He was a spitting image of his father, but had his mother's caramel skin tone. She turned on her side and willed herself not to cry.
"I'm right here baby."
She sat up and looked around the room trying to figure out where his voice was coming from.
"You're dead," she whispered into the room.
Paul chuckled and she found herself smiling.
"I know I'm dead, but you seem to have forgotten that our love is stronger than anything."
"Even death?"
"Yes baby girl."
Her phone rung and she sighed before shutting it off.
"The media wants to interview me and I don't want to talk to them. I just lost the father of my child and the love of my life and they only want to talk about me being the side bitch."
"Is that what you thought you were to me?"
She could hear the hurt dripping from his words and bit her lip.
"No, but it's all they see me as."
"Who the fuck cares, we know what we had was real. Do the interview baby."
"Paul damn it what did I say?"
"Hanna Victoria Walker," he whispered.
She melted at hearing him call her name and sighed as a fresh batch of tears cascaded down her face.
"Oh baby, don't cry."
She felt a gush of cold air and smiled knowing that Paul was so close to her again, even if she couldn't see him.
"I'll call them tomorrow.
"Good, it'll help you heal."
"If you say so."
"I know so."
"What about Paulie?"
"He'll be just fine. You're his mother. Get some sleep baby."

Hanna opened the door and headed to her son's room and smiled seeing that he was still sleeping peacefully. She closed the door and headed back to the room to finish the interview.
"So where were we?"
Melissa opened her mouth and closed it when she heard the little boy's voice.
"Mama."
"Come here, Paulie."
The little boy slowly made his way over to his mother and laid back into her chest. He was still in the process of taking his first steps, but he was getting better everyday.
"Whose this little cutie."
Hanna looked up at Melissa and smiled.
"This is Paulie, Paul's son."
For the first time since the beginning of the interview, Melissa looked down at Hanna's left hand and noticed the rock on her finger.
"And you're his wife."
"Yes."
"When did all of this happen."
"Well I guess we'll have to start from the beginning then won't we?"
