Pretty Wings (Paul Walker)

Ch. 1

Hanna sat down on the bench and watched as her mother fitted Vin Diesel for an outfit. She loved accompanying her mother to her job because she got to meet a lot of interesting characters.

"What do you think small fry," Vin asked Hanna.

She pondered the question before answering him.

"Like a million bucks," she smiled.

Vin smiled before nodding his head in approval.Vanessa shook her head, laughing and removed the jacket from Vin's broad shoulders.

"See you next time Vinny," Hanna beamed.

"Next time little bit."

Hanna's face visibly lit up when she heard the voice that she'd been waiting to hear since she arrived on set with her mother.

"Paul," she excalimed jumping down from her seat to hug his leg.

"Little bit," he laughed picking her up to kiss her cheek and give her a proper hug.

Vanessa looked at the two and smiled. 

"All right Paul what do you want?"

"I wanted to come see my best friend in the whole world."

"Why thank you," Vanessa said.

"Not you mommy. He's talking about me."

Paul laughed and Vanessa looked shocked.

"Well excuse me. Since you're here Paul I might as well get your fitting over."

"Oh don't say it like it you don't miss me when I'm away," Paul said winking at Vanessa.

She rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Oh Paul what would I do if I didn't have you around."

"Lose your mind," he said laughing.

"Oh whatever."

"Little bit want to go get some ice cream."

"Yes."

"Mommy can she go?"

"Fine, but have her back in thirty minutes."

"Ok."

Hanna put her hand in Paul's hand and the two walked to his car.

"All buckled in."

"Yes," she giggled.

Paul laughed and pulled off before pulling up to an ice cream stand. 

"What will it be little bit?"

"Umm... a vanilla cone please."

Paul ordered them both vanilla cones before he lead her to a bench to sit down.

"So when do you start school?"

"Mommy said I start in two weeks."

"Are you exicted?"

"Yes I get to make friends."

"So what am I little bit?"

"You're my old friend."

"Old? I am not old."

Hanna giggled and finished eating her ice cream before Paul opened the door for her and shut it after she was inside of the car. He was well aware of the looks that he was getting, but he didn't let that bother him because he knew what the situation was between him and Hanna. Strictly friends. He dug in his wallet and pulled out two twenties handing them to Hanna.

"Here Hanna."

She looked up at him with wide eyes. He never called her Hanna unless he was serious.

"What is this for?"

"This is for you too go as wild as you want or you can save it."

"I think I'll save it," she said taking the money from Paul.

"Thank you."

"No problem."
