Hanna giggled as Paul tickled her sides. She couldn't get enough of this man, no matter how hard she tried to stay away.

"What do you want to do today," he asked letting her sit up.

"Can we just stay inside and relax? I don't feel like doing anything."

"Whatever you want baby," he said kissing her forehead.

She smiled and leaned in for a quick peck. Paul smiled softly and laid back so Hanna was sitting in between his legs.

"How are classes going?"

"Pretty good. I'm working on this painting for my final exam, it's coming along pretty good."

"You have to show me the next time I'm over the apartment."

Hanna bit her lip and then rolled her eyes.

"What's the matter Han?"

"Nothing."

He lifted her head so that they were looking into each other's eyes.

"Don't lie to me," he said.

She sighed before she started with her story.

"Sal has been acting crazy since we reconnected."

"Has he put his hands on you?"

"No he's not crazy. He just likes to throw insults around."

"Like what?"

"He calls me a slut. Then he tells me that I'm just a cheap whore and the only thing I'm good at is laying on my back."

Paul's jaw clinched and Hana sat up, placing a hand on his chest.

"Don't worry about it, it's nothing I can't handle," she reassured him.

"Oh it's not you that I'm worried about its him. I'd hate to show him what happens when he messes with someone I love."

"Love," Hanna asked smiling.

"Yes."

"You love me?"

"I do."

Hanna looked back at the TV and bit her lip.

"Hey, I know it's probably too soon to be saying it, but it's the truth."

"We shouldn't be doing this Paul."

It had been two months since the decided that they wanted to be together and every now and again she would start to feel guilty about their decision.

"Hanna we've been over this. You can't stop how you feel about someone."

"I know that but still. I wouldn't want someone to go behind my back."

"Fine. I'll break up with her."

Hanna looked up at Paul and held his hands.

"What have we gotten ourselves into," she whispered.

"I have no idea, but I'm going to ride this out," Paul said kissing her lips tenderly.

Later on in the day, Paul had convinced Hanna to go to the park with him to get some fresh air.

"I'd much rather be at home with you," she whined kissing his cheek.

"I know but don't you think this is a good setting to just think about life and how it must be destiny that's brought us back together ten years later."

"I think destiny had everything to do with it," she said crawling into his lap.

"Someone can't get enough of me today."

She blushed and tried to climb off of him, but felt his grip tighten around her waist.

"Where are you going," he asked.

"I'm sorry I'm not good at this."

"Good at what?"

"Relationships."

Paul chuckled.

"It's ok baby. I was only kidding. I like when you're all touchy with me because it lets me know that I'm doing my job as a boyfriend."

"You are the best boyfriend any girl could ask for."

"Thanks baby."

Hanna's stomach growled and she laughed.

"I think you know what that means."

"What do you want?"

"A hot dog all the way please."

"You got it babe. I'll be back."

She let him up and watched as the birds flew by.

"What makes you think he won't do you the way he's doing me?"

Hanna looked up and felt her heart stop.

"K-Kori?"

"Yes, that's me. Paul's girlfriend."

"Listen Kori I didn't mean for this to happen."

"Sure you didn't you just go around with this little innocent girl act, but I see through it."

"Kori I-"

"Just watch your back," she said winking and walking away.

A few minutes later Paul came back with their hot dogs, but she wasn't sure if she could stomach them.

"What's the matter?"

"I think I've lost my appetite," she said.

"It's ok," he said. "We can just eat them at home."

"Yea I think I'm ready to go home. To my apartment."

"Hanna what happened?"

"Nothing can you just take me home."

"Yea sure," he said not understanding what had caused Hanna's sudden mood change.
