The youngest Salvatore hasn't been to school since that day and Veronica can't blame him since she has also tried to keep her distance from him seeing as he just lost his best friend. Although she is worried about him, she used this time to focus on school and spending more time with her mom and friends though she can't say the same for Bonnie.

Every time she tried to contact the Bennett witch, Caroline kept a hold of the brunette and convinced her to take the blonde's side. The night of Stefan's party, Caroline begged Bonnie to give the amber crystal back to her but Bonnie refused and now they haven't talked since, especially considering Caroline tried to rip it from the witch's neck. But since the two girls were Veronica's best friends, she didn't want to take sides and therefore hung out with both equally - though she knew they were both in the wrong.

"Have you even talked to Bonnie?" Elena asked as
Caroline, Veronica and herself strolled slowly on the sidewalk of the high school.

"No." Caroline scoffed, glancing at Elena with a sharp look. "I'm mad at her. She needs to make the first move."

"Why don't the both of you just meet up and apologize?" Veronica advised, raising her eyebrows to girl on her left.

She didn't want to admit it out loud but her gut is telling her that none of this is really Bonnie's fault. Caroline was the one that gave the crystal to the witch then demanded it back and got angry just because Bonnie didn't drop it back into her hand. Plus, they all know she's only doing this for Damon and neither girls have an ounce of liking towards that man.

"Yeah, be the bigger person." Elena agreed, nodding her head in understanding.

"Ugh, impossible in her presence." The blonde mumbled as she rolled her eyes slightly.

Elena's mouth upturned into a slight grin and waved her arms dramatically. "Why are you so pissed with her anyway?"

"She's a thief, that's why." Caroline scowled, she hands gripping her bag tightly that hung on her right shoulder.

Veronica gave her a look of disbelief and questioned. "Aren't you the one who gave her necklace, meaning it was hers then you demanded it back?"
