Jiu stood in the hallway, staring out the window. Hopeful, yet he felt too optimistic. Why would she ever come? The ghost grimaced at the thought of her dancing with that drunk. He hated that image. Suddenly, he heard footsteps rushing down the corridor. He twisted around, wide eyes, hopeful. Please. Let it be her. Only her. Before he could see the figure, he felt arms wrap around him; and something warm plunge into his lips. He staggered back a little, but caught her, grasping at her body and her hair as they deepened the kiss. Leora Mohan tasted like poison. A sweet kind, that he wanted to die from. He wanted to die from it every time; it was pure bliss. He plunged his tongue in, tasting all of her. Leora let out a soft noise, grasping at his face, gently. They pulled back, softly; meeting each other's gaze, panting a little.
"You came..." He whispered, tears filling his eyes slightly.
Leora nodded," I should have come sooner."
They kissed once more, before Leora pulled away, holding him.
"Not here, there's a bedroom there..." She whispered.
Jiu nodded, keeping her in his arms, he pulled the girl to the room. He kicked open the door, kissing her passionately, as he kicked it once more with his foot; tears pricking at the memories. That day they had first met in the Underworld.
"When you wake, you will forget all."
She scowled, crossing her arms," What if I don't want to?"
His brows furrowed, his expression unreadable.
Jiu pushed Leora softly down onto the bed, kissing her lips, softly; not wanting to go deeper just yet. He remembered when she'd left the Underworld their first meeting.
He turned to leave, but paused, his hand reaching up to touch his chest. Why does it feel so empty?
Leora's breath hitched, staring up at him with a fevered gaze, pushing her hair out of the way. Jiu plunged down to her neck.
"I will find a way back. And when I do...you will not summon me again, and I will be sure to make you forget what you saw that night!"
Leora blinked, slowly, and cluelessly, before smiling.
"Then, I will just remember you again. And again."
The girl let out a small gasp as he sucked down, holding him closer to her. Closer to her living, beating heart.
Kong Hun took it, smirking as he pressed his lips against the back of her hand. Leora felt a blush creep upon her features, as she stared at him with wide eyes.
Jiu pulled away, panting softly, his finger; with the red ribbon around it, gently tracing the love bite he'd left behind.Leora stared at the wildflowers with a fond, sad smile.
"Beautiful..." Kong Hun murmured, lingering on her expression for a while.
He then gently brushed Leora's soft hair back from her ear, the girl blushed with wide eyes.
"What are you...?"
Kong Hun gently slipped the stem through the hoop in her caramel locks, so the flower rested on her ear.
"There, now you are a wildflower too."
Leora blushed, glancing away from his smile, which seemed to render her speechless.
Jiu's hand went to her lip, gently tugging down at the soft flesh; the girl let out a soft whimper.
Leora smiled," You worry about me more than you should, you know?"
"How can I not!?" Jiu raised his voice slightly, not intending to," I see how they talk to you, Leora. All of them. You don't do anything wrong, you just stand up for yourself. But people are scared of losing power and they...treat you like that. And I...sit there and have to just do nothing, because if I step in it could make it worse for you. I want to help you! I promised I'd fight for your smile, but...! Sometimes, I... don't know how to and that...hurts..."
Leora stared at him in shock. Jiu stared at the floor, trembling.
The ghost leaned down, pushing his tongue into her mouth. Leora let out a soft groan, her hand immediately finding his head.
"Leora," Jiu firmly cut her off, squeezing her hand for reassurance," Trust me."
Leora stared up at Jiu with wide eyes. Then, with bated breath, she intertwined her fingers with his and stepped forward.
Her hand tightened as the kiss deepened more.Jiu gently swooped her into his grasp, as the song ended. They stared at each other, grinning and panting for breath, as their hands yet again Intertwined like their fates; the red ribbon on Jiu's finger, gently brushing against her own.
She pressed against him tighter, his hand moving down to fumble slightly with her corset.
The girl couldn't help but rest her head against his chest, staring at the ring on her finger as she pressed that hand against his chest. Jiu smiled to himself, wishing that moment would never end.
Suddenly, the door slammed open. Jiu cursed, bolting upright in an instant. They hadn't locked it. Basil staggered in, moaning, as Dorian made out with him. Jiu and Leora watched in shock, Jiu still in-between her legs; as Dorian and Basil were doing the exact same as them. Suddenly, the intruding couple realised, and also stopped, staring in shock. Both couples had caught each other in the act going against rules. Both couples blushed, terribly.
Dorian grabbed Basil, glaring," Tell no one!"
And in an instant, they left the room and slammed the door. Jiu and Leora turned to each other, eyes wide in shock. Speechless. Until...they both burst out in laughter, unable to contain it. Jiu collapsed beside Leora, laughing on the bed with her.Things were looking up. Henry was going to leave, her grandparents were going back to their floor; after the wedding. It would just be Leora and Jiu. Yes, even Duncan seemed like a distant worry. Nothing, could break their spirits at this time. Nothing, whatsoever.
