Jiu walked back through the gates from the town, to the manor. It felt weird to argue with Leora like that; it made his skin crawl slightly just remembering it. He wished it hadn't happened, but feeling like she didn't trust him was, well, devastating; to say the very least. But, he kind of understood why Leora had done it, but it still didn't make him feel any better about the situation. Whatever. He just wanted to go back to normal with Leora and hope maybe now they'd had this conversation she'd actually start to tell him when stuff like that happened. As Jiu arrived at the manor, he heard yelling from the hall, that made him furrow his eyebrows. Did Leora get into an argument with someone else as well? Jiu sighed, and entered. He was surprised to see Henry yelling at the servant, shaking them almost manically. Leora was not in sight, whatsoever. As soon as Henry saw Jiu, his expression turned dark and he stormed over. He went to grab him, but then remembered how Jiu had hit him recently, and stopped himself; clenching his fists to his side.
"You let her out, didn't you?" Henry hissed.
Jiu frowned," What?"
"DON'T WHAT ME!" Henry yelled.
He spun around angrily, grabbed one of the ornaments and smashed it on the floor in a fit of rage. Edward looked sad by this, so Soren patted his shoulder, reassuringly. Henry looked back at Jiu, his expression dark.
"You. Let. Her. Out of this BLOODY MANOR!" Henry yelled," And now we don't know where THE FUCK she is!"

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Jiu snapped," Leora left the manor?"
"YES, JIU. SHE LEFT THE MANOR! UNDERSTAND!?"
Jiu's expression darkened, and he glanced away, muttering to himself," I swore I left her at the steps. Did she...run away after?"
Henry was about to scream furiously again, until the door opened; a sheepish Mr Porter shuffled in, holding his hat. Servants never entered through the front entrance. Everyone was a bit taken aback, but Henry looked as though he might genuinely lose it.
"I...know where Miss Leora is," Mr Porter mumbled," She went to London."
Henry's hands dropped to his side," She...WHAT!?"
Jiu's eyes widened in fear.
"What do you mean, she went to London?" Jiu asked, urgently," Did she tell you why?"
"A bit," Mr Porter muttered," She told me she needed to right a wrong, and it was the only place she could."
Jiu gasped, recalling something from their argument.
Jiu muttered, not bothering to look at her," But for now, I can't even look at you knowing you can't trust me to stand up for you; whilst you still stay with that stupid Lord Bramston..."
It was an incredibly dumb idea, if she'd done what he thought, in her state, but it sounded like a Leora way to respond.

"Damnit..." Jiu ran a hand through his hair, his expression falling," And she's not back?"
"No sir," Mr Porter nodded.
Leora was in London; alone. Just that thought alone made every hair on his body stand upright.
The general looked at the coachman with a sudden urgency," I need a favour. Could you take me to the train station, please?"
"Of course," Mr Porter nodded, rushing back out to fetch the horses.
Jiu followed after him, urgently. Henry blinked in shock, before roaring.
"WHAT THE HECK IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!?"

Jiu rushed out of the cab as soon as they arrived at the small, village train station

Jiu rushed out of the cab as soon as they arrived at the small, village train station. From behind the building he could see the puffs of smoke emerging from the top. The train headed to London was there; he had to get on quickly or else he'd miss it and have to wait for who knows how long, for the next train. Little did he know, Leora was on that very train. As it screeched to a halt, the people around her got up; reaching for their luggage in the top compartment. Leora did not immediately, she stared out of the window; frowning. She looked out at the many fields, sadly, seeing dusk shining upon the frost bitten grass; the lack of cattle and warmth evident on the field. As the train stopped, the people started to get off at the station. Leora held back, letting the more boisterous people exit quicker. She was feeling much more ill now, after spending such a long day outside in the cold. Leora stepped down onto the platform, holding her coat tightly in one hand to keep herself warm, and the other to lift up her hat slightly; to glance around the station. It was packed at this hour, she could barely see through the crowd. Jiu was pushing through the crowd, groaning desperately as he hoped to reach the train in time. The people were rather stubborn, and unfortunately going the opposite way to him; so frequently made him stumble a few steps back. But he persisted out of worry.

And then he stopped suddenly in his tracks, his eyes wide as he recognised the familiar figure walking towards him; decently far away. Leora too, found her eyes widening, as she noticed his figure amongst the crowd. He gasped; bolting forward desperately, trying to push past the stubborn people as swiftly as possible, muttering apologies as he did so. Leora tried to hurry over to him too, pushing past people as strongly as she could, but with each run, felt her energy draining from her very body. Jiu's eyes widened realising how pale she was, forcing himself to sprint even faster. As soon as they reached each other, Leora felt her legs give way. Jiu swiftly grabbed her, as she grabbed him, helping her stand up, hugging her close.
"Jiu," Leora whispered, shakily, nuzzling her face in his coat.
Jiu held her tightly, trembling in relief," Thank goodness, I was worried I wouldn't find you. I'm here now. Can you walk?"
Leora nodded, weakly. Jiu helped her stand; one arm around her back to steady her, and the other holding her hand.
"Let's go."
They walked slowly through the train station; Leora lent against him, pale.
"I felt so guilty; I had to make it right to you," Leora mumbled," So I called off everything with Lord Bramston..."

Jiu kissed her hand," I'm glad, but...I was so scared when I found out you went to London alone, Leora."
"I'm sorry," She muttered.
Jiu shook his head, as they walked steadily.
"Don't be. You're mine now, okay? We belong together," He hummed.
Leora smiled softly, and nodded," Yeah."
They made their way to the carriage, waiting for them outside the station.
