Chapter 6

I woke up to the sound of my mom and dad arguing something pretty loudly down stairs, last nights events came rushing to my mind and it brought a small smile to my face even though it was a painful experience, there's always a rainbow after the rain I guess

Since it was Saturday I had the whole day to procrastinate doing my chores and other important things but I was also going over Gerard's house to watch movies with his friends and honestly I was anxious and excited all at the same time

I reached over to my nightstand and unlocked my phone 10:23pm it read in black, I pulled the mountain of warm covers off my body and my feet made contact with the icy cold floor

You'd think since my family own their own carpet and hardwood flooring business they would at least install a nice white fluffy carpet in my room

As I was walking down the stairs I heard my parents talking about visiting my grandma

Hey your visiting grandma soon? I curiously

Yeah were thinking of visiting for a couple days since she's sick but we don't want you to miss out on school

I'm going to be fine, don't you remember I'm practically an adult and have a job already?

Okay I'm glad your mature about this but we decided on going this Monday through Wednesday or is that too many days?

No it's fine I'll just do my regular routine, work to school and school to work you know? My voice having a hint of sarcasm

Great I'll call her about us visiting her tomorrow my mom said cheerfully while walking to the living room to grab her phone

I made myself a bowl of cereal and sat down while I heard soft murmurs coming from the living room 

So how are your this morning Anna?
My dad tried to make a conversation

I'm good but can I go to a friends house today their the new neighbors moving down a couple houses from us? she goes to my school
I added on trying to convince him

A new friend? Of course you can just don't be home too late you know how your mom feels about that

I finished my cereal and walked up stairs to finish a biology essay I've been putting off

My biology essay was fairly easy to finish it was on biochemistry of food and food growth, changing the farm raised-fish, the process of ripening  fruits and cattle

I stored the paper neatly inside my biology folder and put on Look What You've Done by Jet to clean my room with

I changed the sheets, opened the window for fresh air, dusted my desk and stored my books and music away

After I was done and satisfied with my work I backed up and examined how clean and neat everything looked, honestly I was proud of myself

Grabbing some extra clothes I headed towards the bathroom to take a shower

Stepping inside I turned the knobs clockwise and set the water temperature on high heat creating steam to form instantly and making the glass sliding doors to fog up
