Yeah that's me and it's Anna your names gerard right?
I say shyly

Nice to meet you again, and is this shop closed already? He said with a disappointed expression on his face

Yeah ,but one more order won't hurt

Great! Can I have a medium Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese?

That will be 8.55$ and it will be ready in 15 min

He hands me the money and sits down on a small booth in the corner

"Hash pipe" by Weezer starts playing thanks to my suggestions and I saw him in the corner of my eye tapping his fingers to the beat

That's adorable I mumbled to myself

I go to the back of the shop to check on the pizzas before I get caught staring at him

I made the pizza myself since I'm the one that's suppose to lock the place up and Rachel left an hour ago

It takes me less than 15 minutes till the pizzas are done and I close the ovens again, shut all the lights off
and take my apron off

Alrighty here's your pizza enjoy I said while handing him the pizza

Thank you so much for making these when the place was already closed

It's really no problem I make them everyday so I'm used to them by now

I shut the remaining light off and lock the shop

do you live close by? He asked shyly

Yeah only a couple blocks away I live by hackley street

Same I just moved there

Oh, so your the new family that moved in the house a couple down from me

Yeah were still unpacking and stuff but would you want to walk together, only if you want
He suggested 

I'd love to I replied smiling

We walked for a couple minutes with complete silence only hearing some dogs barking here and there and the crickets chirping

what made your family move to Ohio? I asked curiously

Complicated family problems, things changed around a bit

Yeah I understand and how are you liking the Ohio weather so far?
I guess "complicated family" problems means he doesn't want to tell me

its not too bad actually and how long have you lived here for? he said 

Ever since I can remember I answered smiling

The night air was a bit chilly and I watched as the trees danced and the leaves moved in unison it's quite beautiful how nature has it's own ways

Do you like the school you go to? He asked breaking the silence

Not really, I don't have many friends and get picked on sometimes for the music I listen to I answered sincerely

Well you have me now his voice sounding sincere 

He stopped walking and looked at me straight in the eyes
My face lit up when I saw those eyes in the dark
I felt in a trance as if I couldn't look away even if I needed to
His eyes started to turn brighter and had a yellow tint to them he looked away fast before I could see more

I guess we're already here  he laughed said nervously and not meeting eye contact

I didn't even realize when we were already home until I looked around the neighborhood

I went inside to be kindly greeted with  my mom and dad

who was that you were talking to outside?

The new neighbors that moved in a couple houses down from us he goes to my school too I started heading upstairs to my room because I was tired and didn't need to be investigated

The first thing I immediately did was take off my shoes and lay down in bed
Time to re-think what just happened
