Ugh my stupid tree house is getting soaked again. Every rainy night there is a giant wild wolf that waits outside and won't allow me to go through. Then, I have to sleep in my emergency hut underground and watch the wolf pace back and forth as the rain drips down from above onto his silver fur and my tree house gets filled with water. 'Now that you are 12, you ought to be able to fend for yourself!' says some odd voice in my mind that always seems to control me. So I come out of my underground hole into the rain. And the wolf stares. And I stare. And then he backs off, growling. He must've seen my bow and arrows. I am happy that I scared him off. I have wanted to do that forever. I feel like that time I brought down the big buck alone. It was my first hunting trip right after my parents were killed after being found in the woods. I was about 11 then. Anyway, I had to get some food because all of the reserves in our lopsided hut were all gone. I was really scared of the woods because of what had just happened. But all by myself I stalked that deer with my and shot it with my bow and arrows. I was a really bad at hunting, but I got lucky. I think that I was aiming for the head but the arrow swerved and hit the buck's heart. It died after a few minutes of struggling. I dragged it back home and had a feast. That is how awesome I am. I know, I know.
