Today, a package appeared on my tablo-phone. Did I mention that you can receive packages on your tablo-phone? Well, you can. I had received packages before, from the Government and such. But this one was different. It was from some place called Canada. I didn't know where that was, but I assumed that it was some Government facility, so I opened it. Inside was a suspicious-looking piece of jewelry and a note. I picked up the note. In long, loopy handwriting, it read:
Dear Argentina,If you are receiving this package, then I have died and left you my most prized possession. You probably do not know who I am, or even who you are. This gift will help you find out. You must also know that you cannot trust that Government of yours, no matter how many nice things that they do for you. I wish you good luck on your quest, and hope that you will free everyone in Lrig and out of it from their spell. I am sorry that I cannot explain everything in this letter. I do not have much time.
- Aunt Adanac
I wondered what that meant. I picked up the piece of jewelry and realized that it was a circlet. That is basically a necklace that you wear on top of your head. Attached to it was what looked like a small mirror outlined in metal engravings. The beads were all of assorted blues, greens, and purples. The actual mirror part, though, was tinted bluish-purple and see-through. I put it on my head and was surprised to see that it fit perfectly. "That's odd", I thought. From what I've heard, mysterious packages from a random person you don't know don't usually fit you perfectly. I took it off and placed it on my nightstand along with my tablo-phone, then started examining the mirror part. Suddenly, it fell off. I was alarmed! I had had this package for less that two hours, and I had already broken it. I put the looking-glass by the circlet, so that I could see how to glue it back on, when it reattached itself! I took it back off and put it back on a couple of times. It must be magnetic or something, because it worked every time! I put it back on my nightstand and went to sleep.
