That is all I remember
5 minutes earlier.
My Mom, Dad, younger twin brothers and I were cruising down the highway, belting out good old 80's classics, having the best time until this black Mercedes sped out from nowhere and right into the side of us. All I remember is us flipping over and rolling down into a ditch and then it all went black.
I woke up to the sound of a heart monitor and a doctor looking over me. After about an hour of being inspected the doctor patched up, luckily it wasn't too bad only a sprained wrist and a few cuts and bruises.
I was just laying in the hospital bed and then a lady walked in with a sad and solemn look on her face she approached me and sat on the chair next to my bed and spoke
" Hello Adi. My name's Claire.I gather you know how your are here but it is sad to say that only you made it out alive, I am so sorry but your family has died." When she finished it felt like my whole world ended and that I was falling to a bottomless pit. I just burst out crying and wouldn't stop. Claire then left the room for me to grieve the loss of my family.
It was the evening and I still couldn't get over what had happened that day. I soon gave up and let sleep take over me and I drifted off into a death like sleep.
