Jess's POV
"Get up, Anne!"
I jump on her bed, making her groan. She push me off the bed and sat up.
"I never thought that you would be the one telling me that." She got off her bed and walk to the bathroom.
Yesterday after we drove off leaving Ethan, we went out to celebrate. We got junk food and invited Sarah and Lexi for a girl's night. We ate a lot of junk food and watched movies. We did each other's hair and paint each other's nails. You know, the usual sleepover stuff.
Sarah and Lexi had already left our place early this morning. Surprisingly, I woke up before Anne.
I walk into the kitchen and start to make breakfast. I hum a little tune while cooking up some eggs. I hear Anne walk into the room. I whirl around with two plates of scrambled eggs and bacon in my hands. Anne was looking at me strangely.
"Good morning! I made breakfast!" I say, grinning widely.
"Who are you and what did you do to my best friend?!" Anne demands.
"Oh Anne, it's me!" I say, smiling.
"Okay, first off, my best friend does not wake up early. Second, she is grouchy in the morning. Third, she doesn't wear dresses. Fourth, she doesn't wear make up or brush her hair! Now tell me, who are you?!" Anne asks.
And she was right. I don't wake up early and am very grouchy in the morning. I don't wear dresses, put on make up, or brush my hair unless if there's a special occasion. I brushed my brown wavy hair and put on some natural make up. I'm dressed in a blue floral dress with a pair of brown ankle boots.
"I'm in a good mood, that's all. Now, let's eat breakfast before it gets cold!" I say, putting the plates down on the table. Anne sits down across from me.
"You look totally gorgeous by the way. I don't understand why you don't were dresses often." Anne says, shoveling some eggs into her mouth. "OMG, whenever you cook, which is not often, it tastes like heaven."
"Thank you! And you look gorgeous as always." I grin.
After eating breakfast, Anne drove us to school.
As we pass people in the halls, girls compliment me and guys stare. I smile back at them, being friendly. But really, I feel uncomfortable with all of the extra attention.
We walk to my locker first. I put in my combination while Anne talk on about her new crush. When I swing the door open, out drops.... condoms?!
"What the hell?!" I scream. I whirl around and see Ethan smirking at me, surrounded by his friends.
"I guess you found your masculine side, huh?" He says, mocking me with my own words yesterday. With a wink, he walks away laughing with his friends.
That little....
So he wants to play, huh? Well two can play this game.

"Soldier Ruby , are we ready to put this plan into motion?"
"Yes, ma'am!" Soldier Rudy, aka--Anne, salutes me.
"General Quartz, is Poco ready?"
"Yes, ma'am!" General Quartz, aka--Lexi, nods.
"Then let's get this plan into motion in. . . . three. . . . two. . . .one. . . .now!"
Right on cue, the locker room's door open and boys start streaming in. They were all laughing and talking loudly. I kept my eyes on the door, waiting for a certain someone. Soon enough, he comes in with his idiot friends.
"Sarah's stupid. She made the whole story up." Ethan says, chuckling. Oh, Sarah didn't make that story up, I did. Lexi glares at Ethan, who had just insulted her best friend.
"Exactly. Like who ever heard of a monster that stalks and kills men?" His friend, Andrew, says.
Ethan then takes off his shirt and---- oh my gosh. . . .
he stinks like a pig!
"Now!" I whisper. Lexi presses a button on the remote. A loud growl echoes throughout the room. The guys freeze.
"What was that?" Ethan asks cautiously. The guys look around the room. Lexi presses another button. Another growl echoes throughout the room, closer to Ethan this time. He jumps back in surprise.
"What the---"
A big and ugly monster jumps on Ethan, who lets out a high-pitched scream. I put my fist into my mouth, stifling the laughter that wants to erupt. Ethan immediately gets up from under it, and runs out the door, still screaming. All of the guys run out of the room after Ethan. We get out from our hiding spot before high-fiving each other.
"Girl power!" I squealed.
"Did you see his face?! It was priceless! And his scream! Aaaah!" Anne mocks Ethan before bursting out into laughter.
"That idiot! He broke Poco's leg!" Lexi groans. She picks up Poco and looks sadly at him. "Don't worry old pal. I will fix you and we got revenge on that guy."
Are you confuse? Well, let's go back to the beginning of the day. I got Lexi to lend us one of the robots, Poco, from the robotics club. We dressed him up with help from Sarah, who is in the drama club and is an expert at makeup. Poco looked very scary and ugly, that's how good Sarah is with makeup. I decided to do the prank in the locker room because I won't get caught and guys actually gossip just as much as girls do.
Lexi and Anne went back to their classes. They had gotten passes to "go to the nurse and bathroom". I had a free period, so I decided to go to the library to do some work. But why did I feel kind of guilty?
