Day #2: Shopping

"So how was yesterday at Ethan's house? What did he make you do?" Anne asks me as we walked to school.

"He made me clean his filthy room. It was so disgusting! The floor was covered with trash and clothes!" I groaned.

"Ew. Anything else happened?" Anne grimaced.

"I found out that he lives in a beautiful condo with his two sisters, Katie and Maddie." I explained.

"Wow! That's so cool! He's freaking lucky."

"I know."

"Good luck. I'll see you tonight!"

"Hey Jess. What's up?" Ethan says, walking up to me.

"Nothing much." I shut my locker and walked to class.

"After school today, we are going to the mall. I'll drive you, so wait for me. I need to pick out a gift for my sister and I need you to help." Ethan says, following me.

"Sure. Who is it for?" I asked, trying to look mad. I was actually happy because I didn't have to do any of his dirty work.

"It's for Katie. She's turning 19 on September 16, which is about a week from now."

"Okay. We can discuss this later. I need to go to class now, and so do you." And with that I walked into science class.

UGHH!!

Where is he?! I've been waiting for Ethan at his car for ten minutes, and let me tell you something, I AM NOT PATIENCE!! I spotted him walking around the corner with a girl on his arm.

"Bye babe. I'll see you tomorrow." I heard Ethan say before he leaned down and kissed her.

My jaws dropped at this. What just happened? Will someone tell me what happened?

"Sorry for being late Jess." Ethan says, startling me.

"Who is she?" I said, nodding in the direction where the girl walked off.

"Oh. You saw that?" Ethan asks, his cheeks tinted pink.

OMG?! Ethan Travis is blushing?! Quickly I took out my phone and turned on camera. I need to do it quick before the blush goes away. I take a few shots of him, while he stares at me, confused.

"What are you doing?" He says slowly.

"That was precious! I saw you blush so I just had to take a picture of it! OMG I have proof!" I said, smirking at him and did a little victory dance.

"Delete it right now, Jess!" Ethan said, looking panicked.

"No." I yelled as I ran away. I knew that he's fast at running, but I was the track team's star.

I shrieked. Ethan was gaining on me! I pushed my legs on and saw a crowd. I'm smaller than Ethan, so I should be able to lose him in the crowd. I quickly ran towards the crowd, but before I can, I am tackled to the ground. I groaned as Ethan laid on top of me. Luckily I landed on the grass, but my head hurts and his weight on top of me was heavy. Ethan tried to take my phone but I quickly slipped it into my bra.

"You wouldn't harass a sweet little girl like me right?" I said, looking up at him and batting my eyelashes innocently.

He growled at me. "Give me it!"

"That's what she said." I replied, smirking.

Wow. When did I come up with these awesome comebacks? I'm awesome, aren't I?

"Fine then. I'll just force the phone out of you." Ethan said, smirking.

"If you're thinking about tickling me, then you will be disappointed."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah."

"Let's test this out."

Ethan starts to run his hands up and down my stomach. I yawned. He growled at me. He tries again and I gave him a bored look. Then he tries tickling my feet. No result.

"Are you not human?! Why aren't you ticklish?!" I burst out laughing at him. OMG you should have seen his face. Priceless!

"Shut up. Fine, I'll just force it out of you some other way..." Suddenly Ethan grabs my shoes and ran away. What is he doing?! He dangles it from his hand over the pond. My eyes widen. He can't do that! I only have two pairs of shoes, and the other one was heels! I am not walking in heels everyday! If he drops my shoes in, then I'll have to walk barefoot home!

"Stop! Fine! I'll delete it!" I shouted.Ethan walks towards me smirking. Jerk.

"I'll have to see that you delete it with my own eyes." And so I did. But what he doesn't know is that I have it saved in another place other than my gallery. Don't tell him that.

"Let's go now. We got to get to the mall." Ethan says smugly. We walked to his car and got in. He started the car and we went to the mall. Ethan told me that Katie is a girly girl and she likes the color pink. She likes pop music and accessories. She likes romantic-comedy movies and books. Soon we arrived at the mall. We went inside and looked at the stores.

We got her Selena Gomez's perfume "Vivamore". We also got her a cute pink dress, a necklace, and a bracelet. Afterwards, Ethan treated me to dinner. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Ethan was really nice and made jokes while we ate.

Ethan drove me home afterwards.

"Thanks for helping me find gifts for Katie, Jess." Ethan says, giving me a smile. A real smile, not a smirk, but a smile. He looked really handsome. And--

"Like what you see?" And his smirk is back.

I just blushed. Then, surprising me and him, I hugged him! Soon he relaxes and hugs me back.

"Thanks for the fun time today. It was really fun." I whispered.

"No problem. Good night Jess."

"Goodnight Ethan."
