 *Smut*

Times since that night of the vision has been shifted.

Jimin and Jeongguk have not tried to look back into the memories of the past again after that first time, more so because Jimin believed the guardian doesn't want them to know about it now. And Jeongguk preferably would not like to go through that light shock again.

So, Jimin has approached things differently.

He tried teaching Jeongguk how to use his gifts.

They went over the motions, the feeling and how to dig deep into the connection with the Earth to absorb the power, like a conductor. Everything comes from the Earth, they just use the power it lends to them, and then they must give it back.

But Jeongguk has not been able to master it.

His eyes changes to the color, but only when Jimin shifts it first, to then it makes Jeongguk react to it. To do it on his own seems close to impossible.

Nothing worked, no matter how hard he tried.

After a long night of practicing and going over it, Jeongguk gave up.

"This is pointless," He pants while leaning against a tree, "Maybe you're wrong. What if it's you? You are probably reflecting your colors to others without realizing it?"

Jimin crosses his arms over his chest, thinking about it, "But you are strong, when we fought-"

"I studied martial arts."

"But you learn quick to the Earth to move-"

"I learn fast in general Jimin. My boyfriend is an alien, and we used to live in an island," Jeongguks huffs, opening his eyes, "This is all just you. You are projecting your abilities to me without realizing it. I'm not one of your people.... It's just impossible."

Jimin is in denial, but he doesn't know how to respond back to that. In a way, Jeongguk is right. All of the times that Jeongguk has shown any source of power or ability, it has been when Jimin had been around -

"That's not true."

All eyes' snaps to Taehyung, who leaning back against a bolder, rubbing his wrists subtly as a memory breezed through his head with a frown, "Remember the time..... We.... Tried to mate?"

Why would he bring that up?

Jeongguk furrows his eyebrows, confused, "Yeah? What does that memory have to do with any of this?"

Jimin looks between them a little awkwardly, until Taehyung spoke, "That night..... Not your scream that stop me," And he glances back to his wrists, "It was your hand.... It burned me."

Both boys perked their heads to Taehyung, well with Jimin now glancing at the two again but a little more in anticipation, letting the possibilities fall in his mind. Meanwhile, Jeongguk desperately tried to rake in his memory of that night, but he can't remember anything besides the desperation he felt to be released.

Nothing is clear, no matter how hard Jeongguk tried to remember well.

"I don't understand," Jimin suddenly chimes in, looking at Jeongguk, "You rejected mating with your partner?"

Well, clearly the big part of the situation is irrelevant to Jimin.

"No it's just..... It was too much," Jeongguk retorts back, a little flustered, "I'm just a human and..... Well.... Taehyung has other tendencies."
