I opened my eyes that were tight shut after the car came to a sudden halt. I immediately checked to my side to see if Callum was okay; when I saw him with both hands still on the wheel I knew he was fine. I then mentally scanned over myself to check if I was fine, of course I was nothing hit us.
"It was a damn squirrel Lid!" Callum shouted
"You nearly killed it!" I shouted back
"I nearly killed you!" He shouted louder this time red in the face. It was a scary sight and not a side I had seen of Callum before but I stood my ground and would not let him see that he made me nervous, for different reasons than usual.
"Well you didn't kill either of us" I mumbled thinking about the squirrel skipping off the road totally oblivious to my panic.
He started the car up again and we drove off in silence.
It began as a small giggle but soon I was in a full fit of laughter.
Callum looked at me from the corner of his eye with a stone cold face before a small smile tugged at his lips I could see that he was trying to stop it but before long he was soon laughing along with me.
"I could of killed us." He stated matter of factly
"We are fine" I shrugged "and so is the squirrel"
He rolled his eyes at my last comment and pulled into a near lay by at the side of the road.
"You looked hot when you shouted at me" he said turning to me with a familiar smirk on his face.
I suddenly got hot and bothered under his gaze and unbuckled my seat belt. Finding it unbearable to be under his admiring eyes any longer I climbed onto his lap and straddled him. I didn't reply to his previous comment, not knowing what to say, instead I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. A hard kiss. His mouth moved along with mine with no hesitation. His hands made their way to bum squeezing it every now and again. After I don't know how long, Callum pulled away, both of us short of breath and rosy cheeked due to the warmth of the car.
He leaned his head against mine and spoke breathlessly
"I suggest you stop moving about so much unless you want to move this to the back of the car".
I lifted my head with wide eyes and he raised his eye brows with a smile what showed me that he was joking. Even though I was slightly embarrassed I moved off his lap and into the back of the car. Callum had a priceless look on his face and I began to laugh.
"C'mon Cal there's more room back here" I laughed.
He smirked, and raised an eyebrow then somehow got his broad shoulders through the small gap between the front seats and into the back. Within seconds, without suffocating me with his large frame, he was straddling me. I let out a breath of surprise and laughed underneath him (I say laugh because I made myself a promise that he would never make me giggle again) he stared at me with the most intense look for a few seconds my eyes moving from his to his lips as I became flustered. How did he make me feel like this, I have never been the soppy type but he made me feel like I was so important I just wish I knew how important because he was important to me, so important it made me feel a little uncomfortable. Sometimes when I had time to myself I would think of how stupid I am being. How could I be special to someone I have known less than a year? But more importantly how could I let myself get this close to someone so soon but I didn't have enough time to think about that now as he leaned in licking his bottom lip then pressing his against mine hard. I could feel the passion behind it making my insides do flips as I hoped he received the same from me. We were tangled in each other when a small vibrating noise interrupted us. It was coming from Callum pocket but he ignored it and it soon disappeared but 2 minutes later it began again, he pulled away from our kiss and sighed then sat down beside me to wiggle the phone from his pocket.
I saw the cold look from earlier on this morning return to his face. "What do you want Raffal."
It wasn't so much a question as it was a statement.
