After getting lunch at Subway, we decided to walk home from town since there was nothing else to do to fill the school time we were missing. We talked a lot, nothing else about what happened in the cafe came up though and before I knew it we were standing at the end of my drive way.

"So uh I'll see you tomorrow, in school?"

"Yeah, see you in school" I nodded and we both smiled as I turned to walk up to my house.

Two weeks had passed. I had saw Callum at least once a day everyday. Some days we would just exchange a quick "Hello" while passing in the corridors of school and some days we would go out after school together. I started to really enjoy his company and I think he enjoyed mine too; well I hoped he did. I've also spent the two weeks trying to push away the feelings that have been surfacing for him. Callum had a way of giving me unwanted butterflies whether it was when he was just simply laughing or when his hand slightly skimmed my knee or even during one of our almost kisses my stomch erupted in butterflies. That was another thing, we hadn't kissed since the party. There had been a lot of moments leading up to the thing I wanted most but it never actually happened. Despite wanting to push away these feelings I did nothing to prevent them. I didn't want to stop spending time with him because even though when I was with him the tiny winged insects would pay a vist numerous times, he made me happy.

On this particular Thursday evening Callum and myself were sitting on my bed with five different math revision books scattered around us.

"But why would I ever need to know what x-y equals?!" Callum slung his pen down on his maths book.

"I don't know why you would ever need it in everyday life but I do know that you need it for your exams that are coming up" I sighed. He had asked if I would help him revise but ever since he got here he hasn't been very cooperative.

"You know" he said moving the books aside and shuffling closer too me "I don't really need to revise..."

I slammed the book, that I was previously reading from, shut and gave him a look of disbelief "So why did you come over then?"

"I was running out of excuses to hang out with you" he said looking down for a moment before meeting my gaze "I like being around you" he whispered as if he was afraid

"We don't need excuses Callum" I said while closing the space between us so our knees were touching "I like being around you too"

"Good" he spoke still in a soft wisper "what do you want to do?" his fingers wiggled there way between my own and the familiar butterflies in my stomach he gave me payed a vist.

"We can watch netflix? or do you want to go out?" I suggested

"Yeah let's go out, we will over walk to my house I have something I want to show you"

"Just through here" Callum guided me through his kitchen to a door. Once he opened it it was clear the room was a garage and I was confused to what he wanted to show me that would be in a garage.

"What is it you want to show me?"

"Be patient Liddia" he chuckled and I continued to watch his every move. The way his arms tensed when he lifted something or when they just simply swung by his side.

"You are going to need this" he threw me a helmet and it was obvious he was going to show me a motorbike.

He removed a dark blue sheet and underneath was a shiny black motorbike.

"Is that- is that yours?" I said moving over to get a closer look at the bike.

"Yeah, nice isn't it"
