As usual, the household of the Eversors is nothing more than a peaceful one, as if the attacks of the Honkai didn't affect them. There isn't anything to worry about at the moment.

"No fair! It's my turn!"
"Heh, I win! Fair and square!"

Well, scratch that. Mostly a peaceful one.

Theodore and Sarah, seeing this, can't help but look amused at the sight of the quarrel. They didn't even bother stopping them, as they continued to mind their own business.

Kiana stuck her tongue out as she was holding a controller. "It's my turn to play here, so bad luck there!"
"Darn it," Alex is frustrated at his defeat.
"Heh, don't be a sore loser."

As Kiana then started to play, she stretched a bit, before she couldn't help but notice how vast the space was. And as she looked closer, she noticed there was something missing.
Deciding to pause her game, she then looked at Alex, who was still looking disappointed. "Say. . . why is there no table in the room?"

"Huh?"

Kiana can't help but point at the vast space. "There's no table there! I mean, why is there no table in the living room? It's just strange, that's all."
Looking at where Kiana is pointing at, he indeed saw it.

"Oh! Oh, that. That. You might be wondering why is there no table in the room, right?" Kiana nodded at what Alex asked.

"See, the thing is," Alex chuckled. "Believe me when I say this, dad showed that one woman her place when she tried to rob me."
Kiana raised an eyebrow at that. "A woman tried to rob your dad?"

"Yep. Dad didn't exactly describe the full details, but he told me how the woman was preaching about how she's a Valkyrie or something and that robbing him would be too easy, before he put her in her place."

Kiana can't help but freeze in place at what he just said, to which Alex can't help but raise an eyebrow. "Something wrong?"
"Did you just say... a Valkyrie?" Kiana spoke up as she looked in shock.
"Yeah, I did. Why?"

Kiana looked at Alex as if he just did something crazy. "What the hell?! So you're saying your father beat up a Valkyrie?"
"Yep."
"That's insane!" Kiana is literally wondering how is that possible. "Your dad will not be able to defeat a Valkyrie like that! If anything he will be the one at the end of the beating!"

"Well, he does have military training," Alex commented as he tried to defend his father. "That at least helped him."
"How?!" Kiana exclaimed, looking at Alex like he just signed a death warrant. "How would it help him?! Fighting a Valkyrie with just military training is suicide! It wouldn't be enough! There's no way he'll win!"
"Let me explain," Alex raised a finger as he started to explain his story. "It all started when dad just got home from work..."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Just another day from work, all done. . ." Theodore yawned as he stretched his arms, as he was about to approach the game to his home. He looked up, and it's already nighttime at that point. "At least I get to relax once in a while."
Once he opened the gate, he found the keys to the door of his house, before he unlocked it. Opening the door before he closed it once he entered inside.

Meanwhile, a woman just so happened to approach the streets, as this she is legitimately pissed. Because of the fact she just got booted from her job.
"Who do they think they are to expel me?!" The woman exclaimed to no one in particular. "I'm a  Valkyrie. They have no right to expel me like that! I'll make them pay! All of them!"

If there are people walking nearby, they would have started murmuring to each other about how crazy she is.

As she grumbled to herself on the streets, she looked at the different houses. "I might as well take whatever I want! And I doubt anyone in this town can stop me!"
Soon enough, she continued to walk in the streets, looking at different houses. "Nope, no, no, no. . ."
