"There's... something I didn't think about before we made our escape." Aron said.

"What's that?" Victoria responded.

"Food." Aron said while his stomach grumbled.

"Oh... yeah..."

There was a brief moment of silence.

"Well... we are part animal now. Should we try to hunt?" Aron suggested.

"I wouldn't have the first clue on what to do." Victoria said while looking down.

"I'm guessing we take silent stances, wait for something to come by, and then pounce on it?" Aron thought out loud.

"That sounds like it. I guess it's worth a shot."

"We should probably split up. Maybe, you go over there by the river, and I will go that way by that giant pine tree?"

"Sounds like a plan!" Victoria said excitedly.

"Now, since we won't be able to see each other through the trees, we'll have to call out if we catch something." Aron reminded.

"Okay. Let's get hunting!" she said.

The two then took their positions –Victoria by the stream, and Aron near a giant pine tree. The two were about 200 feet apart.

"Yell if you catch anything!"Victoria shouted.

"Got it!" Aron yelled back.

The two watched silently from their positions. Clouds had started to gather in the sky, taking away the mighty sunshine. Not many animals were out during the time they were hunting. A squirrel passed by Aron, who pounced at it and missed. Nearly an hour passed with almost no other sightings of animals. Victoria walked over to Aron.

"Not much luck?" she asked.

"No... hardly anything." he said.

"Same here. Maybe we should try different positions?" she suggested.

"That could work. Why don't I try the stream... you know... fishing." Aron pondered.

"Good thought. I'll try up that hill. Again, yell if you find something."

"Sounds good."

The two then went to their new positions. Aron stood on a pile of rocks in the middle of the shallow stream. It was about 2 feet deep in certain parts. He saw a fish go by and jumped in, narrowly missing it. Another one swam outside of him, again, missing his mighty lunge. He then decided to regroup and go back on the rocks again. He jumped in at the sight of one and again missed.

(Man... this is impossible...) he thought to himself.

His thought was interrupted by a scream up the hill.

"Aron, help!"

"Victoria?!" he said in an alert state.

Aron ran up out of the stream. "Aron!!" he heard her yelling again.

"I'm coming Victoria!" he said as he was sprinting up the hill.

He got to the top of the hill, a wooded area, and looked around. To his right he saw a giant grizzly bear closing in on her.

Aron arrived on the scene and stood in front of Victoria. The grizzly bear was about 15 feet in front of them and closing in. The two started to back up, only to get stopped by a large boulder behind them. It started to lightly snow.

"Victoria, stay back!" Aron shouted as he stepped forward.

"But, Aron, what if you get hurt?!"she said back.
