Welcome to my new story! I HOPE you enjoy reading it!

A loud ringing made me jump, and I looked up at the phone. It rang again and I pressed the blinking orange light.
"Hello? Testing testing. Hello- hello- hello- hello." The voice pretended to echo itself and I chuckled. "Sorry, I'm a dork. You'll get used to it. Um, I guess I should start reading this script Boss gave me." The voice cleared its throat. "Hello, my name is Mat, and I'm here to help you get comfortable. This is a pre-recorded voice message, no shit Sherlock, and so some things may have changed since this was recorded. Ooh, bet you couldn't guess that. I'd like to congratulate you on your new job as Night Guard at The Pack's Arcade. The current employers will not take any blame for any loss and or damage of possessions or persons. Any loss and or damage should be reported to your Boss the morning after so a report can be filed. Blah blah blah, the rest of this is just legal stuff I'm not going to bore you with." The voice chuckled and I laughed along. I'd been eyeing up the office, see what there was. All there was was a plush cake on the desk with tons of posters for the animatronics or games. There was a broken fan that looked to have been smashed against something heavier than it, but everything in the room seemed unharmed. There was a tablet on the desk as well, showing the main room where you first enter. I kept glancing at the door, wondering why I would need to watch it. "Well, I'd better start warning you. The animatronics, the robots that entertain the kids during the day, are in free-roam mode at night. Boss says that those things can fry their wiring once the restraint starts running on its backup generator. That's what you're running on. If I remember correctly, Boss said he'd leave one refill for the generator. So use the power wisely. Back the animatronics." Shifting could be heard in the recording. "The animatronics roam at night. And they don't take too kindly to people being there after hours. They might try to hurt you, so be careful. They can pack quite a punch when angered too. Or a bite. One guy got the front part of his head but off, and lived to tell the tale for a while after. He'd been asking for it though. He was mocking the animatronics and one finally snapped and bit him. He's not around anymore. But, I should probably tell you more about the animatronics. The first you need to watch for is Craft. He's the really tall blonde, and he's a fast booger. He's also pretty quiet, so watch out. He'd usually hang out in the physical area of the arcade, Camera 6 on your tablet. Speaking of which, there should be a tablet on the desk that has a map of the restaurant. Each room has one camera, except the halls and Storage. Back to the animatronics, your next threat is probably Jerome. He usually won't leave the Fighting Arenas, Camera 8, but when he does he's pissed. He's the one that bit the man. He's been vicious to any human ever since. They had to close off the Fighting Arena because he was considered a threat." I picked up the tablet and looked at the two mentioned rooms. Camera 6 held Craft, a tall Minecraft-shaped animatronic with bright yellow hair and blue eyes. Camera 8 held Jerome, a furry bear-like creature in a suit. I knew the creature to be called a Bacca, at least by Jerome. His eyes were completely black, but the camera made little red dots in the center. "Your next threat is probably Bajan. He won't necessarily attack, but he will if Jerome does. The two are practically glued at the hip. Bajan starts in Camera 10, the specialty games, but he gets over with Jerome quickly. That's what makes Jerome even more threatening." I flipped to camera 10 and saw a red blur pass by the camera. I followed it to where Jerome was, the two seemingly talking although there was no noise. Bajan was a human with brown hair and eyes of a different shade. He wore a pristine red and black checkered hoodie. "Next threat is Preston. He's in Camera 7, the virtual reality chamber. He's big into fighting, but is usually peaceful. He might roam towards the Prize corner, but I'll explain why later." Preston was a Minecraft-shaped blob of lava with a suit. "Now, you've got two more animatronics who are pretty peaceful. Vikk is the first, he's in camera 1. That's the lobby. He usually won't attack unless 1- you hurt Craft or 2- there's someone trying to get in. Otherwise he'll just stay in the lobby or roam around to watch the others." I looked at camera 1 again to see an animatronic that was very short and wore a blue shirt. He was facing away from me but I already knew he had dark hair, tanned skin, and deep brown eyes. I used to be their best friend. And now I'm their babysitter. Tells you a lot, huh? For once, I'm glad I wasn't added to the Pack. "Lastly is Woofless. He's a peaceful one, and won't attack at all. He'll come and visit though. He'll offer you a flower, and you better take that flower. Or he will get Preston to attack. And when Woofless is hurt in any way, Preston gets furious. So make sure Woofless can give you that flower. He's in camera 5 if you want to check up on him." I clicked over to camera 5 to see a boy in a blue hoodie. He had brown hair with a flower crown on top. It looked like this was the prize room, so I looked at some of the prizes. There were plushes of the animatronics and a foam diamond axe and sword. There was a flower crown like Woofless's and a lava mask. Lastly there was a star with 123 on it and a fish. I chuckled at all the jokes those referenced to and listened for the guy on the phone. "Sorry I was quiet. I was checking my notes. There a few more animatronics, but they don't usually wake up. They're in storage most the time and are powered down. Hm, Kenny and Choco shouldn't do anything. Tyler never moves." He began to click his tongue as he flipped through paper. I checked on Craft and Jerome, both still in place. "Well, now's when I explain a little more. These animatronics, back when they were human, loved each other. Jerome and Mitch, who became Bajan. Vikk and Lachlan, who became Craft. Preston and Rob, who became Woofless. Kenny and Choco were also together, which is why they don't really move. They're content just sitting together in storage. Tyler was with a boy named Jason, but they didn't make him a suit. He wasn't as close to the Pack, which is sad. Jason died as well, back when all the original people died. His was suicide though. The poor boy was left alone, I don't blame him. The only two people who are still alive who were friends of the Pack are me and a boy named Brandon." I gulped as he said my name. "I haven't been able to find him yet, but I will find him before they do. The only reason they kept me here is to lure him in. Um, I think I've said enough for one night. Good luck and I hope you make it back tomorrow." I gulped as I felt my breath catch in my throat. They wanted me. They wanted me dead. But they didn't know who I was. They don't know I'm right under their noses. And I hope they never know. Why did I ever run away and not warn Mat? I knew what was happening, I should have warned him. I heard a door creak and I slammed my door close. I searched the cameras and found out it was Woofless. I quickly opened the door just in time for Woofless to try and knock. He reached out his hands, metallic flower in his grasp.
"Do you like my flower?" The robotic voice crackled, sounding so much like Rob.
"Yes Rob. I love it. Can I have it?" Rob hummed.
"It's for you. A gift. To apologize for the others. They don't like being stuck." Woofless said, voice glitching every so often.
"I know. I miss you guys." I said as I glanced towards the camera. Lachlan was gone.
"Close the door!" Rob screeched and I slammed the door closed, his flower falling to the floor. I took it and twirled it in my hands.
"Thank you Robert. Thank you."

What do you think? Should I continue? I'm planning on it, but I'll only post it if you guys are interested. I will continue with No Name's and my One Shots book, I was just out of ideas for one shots. Until next time, Peace my cheeses!
