'The fuc-, so this was their strategy? Annoying and unjust but good.'

Cale said as he nodded. Whereas Choi han and others were baffled. Jiwoo tricked Julian and managed to land a good blow on him, leaving various cuts. And since Julian proposed an handicap before that if Jiwoo manages to leave a single scratch on him then he will admit defeat.

So it was Jiwoo's win. Choi han felt it was wrong but don't know how. Inhyuk managed to amde the final announcement but his face still held disbelief as he still was unable to process what happened.

Julian and Veramonte were just as much surprised. Whereas Jiwoo praised Kayden for already knowing what will happen and giving this strategy.

Julian and Veramonte finally had the realisation that Julian was tricked. Kartien who was sitting in his cat form scoffed at Julian for being a fool. The moment Julian proposed that handicap, he was already defeated. Kayden fooled them and Jiwoo managed to defeat Julian.

Veramonte was stunned, he thought that Kayden's student would also be a long distant fighter like him. But Jiwoo was a close ranged fighter.

"Kayden, your student specialises in close ranged combat?"

"Yeah"

"Did you also tell him to change his stance to lower Julian's guard before the match started?"

Veramonte asked, a bit furious.

"Yeah I did~"

Kayden replied with a cheeky face, making Veramonte's brow twitch in annoyance.

As Cale said, it was an annoying and unjust but a good plan. And no matter how good the plan would be, if Jiwoo's speed was not  enough then this plan would've flopped. The truth is that Jiwoo was too fast, even for Julian as Julian was not able to do any counter attack.

"Oh right Veramonte, your grandson is no match for my student."

Kayden didn't miss the chance to annoy Veramonte making a tick mark appear on Veramonte's forehead. Julian was no better, he wasn't able to accept that he lost. Julian's jaw clenched as rage filled inside him.

"What?"

But Kayden's word caught Julian's attention.

"Are you going to throw a tantrum, say that the match was invalid and ask for a rematch?"

These words seem to pull Julian back to reality. He realised that he was really about to do that. And how immature and childish that is.

"That's stupidity"

Cale interjected.

"No matter the circumstances, if you don't win, then you lost. If you can't accept this simple thing then you don't stand a chance in real fight."

Cale was true. People in awakened world are merciless, they'll use every means to kill you and reap benefits. There would no such thing as fairness. So, it's necessary to accept when you lost and step back. Nothing is more important than your life. And admitting defeat is not a privilege everyone has.

Julian blinked listening to Cale's words. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He knows what Cale is saying is true. It was important to admit defeat. And it's important to know when to step back.

Julian shook his head with a small smile.

"I admit I lost"

This took Sinhwa and Jiwoo by surprise whereas Veramonte looked at Julian silently. But if one look closely one can see the approval in his wrinkled eyes. He was proud of his grandson's maturity and acceptance.
