Veer entered the mansion, carrying Pihu in his arms. Karan followed, while Avinash trailed behind with Pihu's bag slung over his shoulder.

Bhavna, seated on the sofa, sprang to her feet when she noticed them. Her eyes darted to Pihu's stained uniform and bloodied knees.

"Kya hua beta? Yeh khoon?" she gasped, rushing toward them. Her gaze fixed on Pihu’s injuries as she frowned. "Yeh chot kaise lagi, Pihu? Veer, kya hua?"

Veer calmly explained the situation, keeping his voice steady.

Bhavna turned to Pihu, her tone firm. "Itna hyper hone ki kya zarurat thi? Humesha yaad dilana padega, ki har cheez sambhal ke kiya karo? Kitna khoon beh gaya!"

Pihu didn’t utter a word. She lowered her eyes and took her mother’s scolding.

"Maa, fikar mat karo. Nurse ne tetanus shot de diya hai ab woh thik hai. Aap dinner uske room mein bhej dena." Veer replied softly and carried her to room.

Adjusting the pillows to make her comfortable, Veer sat beside her. "Ab thik ho?" he asked softly.

Pihu nodded

A few minutes later, Avinash entered with a tray of food, sitting beside Pihu. Scooping a spoonful of rice, he fed her.

Midway, Pihu began to cough. “Ek minute,” Veer said, rushing to grab a glass of water from the table. He made her drink it.

"Aram se, Pihu," Veer said, his voice laced with worry as he lightly patted her back.

Meanwhile Aarav was on the terrace when he felt someone's presence

"Ansh?" Aarav hugged him

"Kyu be, itne dino se gayab kyu hai?" Ansh asked

"Man nahi karha janeka" Aarav replied with a small unhappy smile

"Man nahi tha!!? Aur tere bhaiyo ne tujhe kuch nahi bola?" Ansh chuckled. Ansh was his childhood friend and is himself scared of Karan and Veer.

"Unlog mujhse baat kare tab na" Aarav replied sadly

"Tune phirse kuch kiya?" Ansh asked and Aarav explained to him the whole thing

"Tujhe smoking start kiye kitne mahine hoge. Teen na?" Ansh asked

"Panch" he replied

"Toh stress ho raha hoga aise achanak quit karne ke wajah se" Ansh said, pulling out a cigarette. "Ek phoonk le. Better lagega."

"Dimag kharab ho gaya hai kya?" Aarav hissed. "Mere bhai already gusse mein hain!"

"Kisiko pata nahi chalega," Ansh urged, handing him the cigarette while searching for his lighter.

Before Aarav could protest, he saw someone who just entered. Karan stood there, his eyes narrowing dangerously at the cigarette in Aarav's hand.

Without a word, he marched up to Aarav and slapped him hard across the face.

Ansh froze, his face pale. Karan’s death glare was enough to drain every ounce of courage from him. He wanted nothing more than to vanish into thin air. Aarav, on the other hand, stood frozen in terror

Karan grabbed Aarav by the ear, yanking him forward with no mercy. Aarav winced in pain but didn’t dare protest. His fear swallowed any words he might have said.

The door to Aarav’s room slammed shut. Karan shoved Aarav forward with such force that he stumbled and fell onto the bed, his body trembling.

"Bhaiya, I swear—m-main smoke nahi kar raha tha! It was Ansh's cigarette. Mujhe bas pakda diya tha—" Aarav pleaded, his voice trembling.
