Aiah's POV.
While holding hands, Ken and I walked discreetly as we went near the gardens. Nanduon ang party na prinepare ng mga co-bodyguards niya.
I know, I understand that she doesn't like surprises, pero deserve din ni Ken na magkaroon ng memorable birthday celebration.
"Nasaan yung ibang bodyguards?" She curiously asked me.
"Maybe they are preparing for your surprise? About what ba kasi yung surprise nila for you?" I asked her.
"I don't know either. I don't like surprises." Sagot din niya sa akin.
We stopped walking at hinarap ko siya. "Bakit?" Iyon agad ang tanong sa akin ni Ken.
"Kennedy Devonne Rocess-Salvador. Alam kong we are just starting in this kind of relationship. And you are not satisfied enough to fully trust me -"
"May trust ako sa iyo, Aiah." Agad niyang sagot.
"But you didn't tell me about your birthday." I answered back.
She sighed and looked down. "I'm not mad or upset about it. Naiintindihan kita, Ken."
"I'm sorry Aiah kung tinago ko iyon sa iyo. It's just... there's nothing special about my birthday. Ayaw ko ginagawang big deal ang birthday ko. It's just a date." Explain niya sa akin habang hinawakan ang dalawa kong kamay.
"Hey, don't say that. I know that you don't like surprises. You are a bodyguard. And bodyguards are stoic and expressionless. However, that does not preclude you from celebrating." I told her.
"Well, since you know my birthday already. Gusto ko lang i-celebrate ang birthday ko kasama ka. Ikaw lang." She pouted and I smiled.
"Huwag mo kong solohin, Ken. Maraming gusto i-celebrate ang birthday mo." I pinched her cheeks.
"I don't want them. Ikaw lang gusto ko kasama."
"And I will be there. Sa lahat ng birthday celebration mo, nanduon ako. I promise." I assured her.
"Now, they have a surprise celebration for you because they care about you. Atsaka, may surprise din ako sa iyo." We started to walk down again.
"Yung surprise mo lang gusto ko." She protested again.
"Just be there Ken. Walang may pake about your reaction, alright?" Pilit ko ulit sa kanya.
"Fine." She sighed at natawa naman ako sa reaction niya.

"There it is! Come, Ken!" Sabi ko sa kanya at tumakbo agad ako papalapit sa flower na sinasabi ko sa kanya.
"So meron nga na bulaklak nag oopen tuwing gabi?" Tanong sa akin ni Ken.
"Not yet but we are on time. Come, look." I commanded her and we both leaned forward to see the flower bloom.
"Did you plant this?" She asked me.
"Nope. Sabi na isang First Lady daw ang nagtanim nito. Because it is uncommon, the previous first families took care of it." I answered her.
Sakto it is Full Moon, and we notice that this flower begins too open.
"That is nice." Plain na sagot ni Ken.
"Ano ba iyang reaction mo?"
"What's wrong with my answer? Maganda nga eh." Tutol niya sa akin.
