Chapter 3
(Lexis POV)
(After the pool, now at Chloe's house)
Chloe, Amber and I were sitting on Chloe's bed watching The Hunger Games and eating popcorn we were going to sleep over Chloe's house tonight, Matthews friends were going to sleep over too. They were downstairs playing video games and eating pizza. "Go in, go in and meet me at the staircase!" I heard Caleb shout "No then their gonna find us and capture us!" Matthew shouted back. I had no idea what they were playing but, I was so interested in the movie that I didn't care.
Brady and Shelby left and so did all of the parents.
(30 minutes later)
The movie ended and our popcorn was gone "I'm going to get some water, do you guys want some?" Chloe asked "Sure." Amber and I said at the same time. "Who is that!" Chloe screamed "Where?" I said panicking Chloe pointed to the window, we looked at the window and heard a branch snap and hit the ground Amber opened the blinds and we saw someone in a gray jacket running through the yard "what the heck who was that? I asked scared "I have no idea" Chloe said "are you going to tell your parents about it?" Amber asked "I don't want to freak them out, so if it happens again I will." Chloe said "okay" I said
(Chloe's POV)
We went downstairs to get some water "here." I said and I tossed them both a water bottle, I opened my water and took a big gulp. We sat on the counter and we all went on our phones. "Let's take a selfie." Amber said laughing, we all fixed our hair and smiled. "But first let be take a selfie!" Matt sang to us "be quiet." I said laughing "duck face!" He said and did the peace sign mocking us "do you want to play glow stick tag?" I asked "fine but let's make it more fun, girls vs boys and we have bases." He said "okay where are the bases?" I asked "boys behind the couch and girls behind the counter" Matt said "let's capture people" I said "okay!" Matt said excitedly.
Lexie, Amber, and I cracked the glow sticks and the boys were in a huddle probably making a plan. We gave the boys yellow and we got green "Okay, if you tag someone they have to go out to the porch, and they can escape when no one is watching them, if someone has you captured for 1 minute or more you have to join their team!" Amber shouted "The bases for you guys is behind the couch and our base is behind the counter, you can't tag someone when they are at base!" Lexie said "let's go!" I screamed
(Amber's POV)
We ran around the house chasing each other, and trying to capture people. I was out of breath and against the wall breathing heavily. "Get her!" John screamed at the top of his lungs I screamed and ran towards the door, before I got to the door Arron tagged me "I got you!" He said trying to brag I ran to the back door. Arron followed me to make sure I wouldn't run away. I looked around and I watched Matthew tag Chloe, they came to the back door. I looked around one more time and I ran past Arron and to the stairs, I bumped into Lexie "agh!" Lexie and I screamed at the same time "Oh my gosh you scared me!" I said out of breath "come on!" Chloe screamed from behind us "they have nerf guns!" Chloe said and ran to the kitchen counter, we followed after her. "Duck!" I yelled
(1 hour later)
(Chloe's POV)
Lexie, Amber, and I were sitting in my room on our phones, my phone buzzed I clicked the home button and went to my messages I had one from an unknown number.
The text message said "You saw me today and you are going to regret it, if you tell anybody else you are not going to be a happy girl LOOK OUT." I looked at the window and nobody was there, good. My phone started to ring I didn't know who it was, of course what does this person want from me. I walked in to the bathroom and locked the door, I answered the call, stupid me.

?- is this Chloe?
C- why?
?- I need to know and if you don't tell me you going to get it!
C- y-yes it's Chloe, what do you want from me.
?- you know
C- no I don't tell me
?- you will find out you deserve this
C- what this is cra-
They ended the call, it sounded like a girl I think I have heard that voice before but I couldn't figure it out.
