Chapter 5
(Matthews POV)
I didn't know where we were going and my ankle was sore already "Chloe the trail!" I said pointing towards the trail we were out in the woods "come on fast!" Chloe said we all ran to the side of the trail we ran along the trail to the house. When we got to the back door "Matt don't tell mom and dad I will okay?" Chloe asked "okay." I said looking down at my feet
(Chloe's POV)
I opened the back door and stepped inside "Chloe!" My mom yelled "where were you?" She continued "mo-" I started to say and my dad cut me off "you scared us." He said pointing at Matt and I. "Can we talk about this later?" I asked "sure but soon." My mom said.
(2 days later)
(Chloe's POV)
When I told then about what happened I didn't tell them that it was pipers uncle, my dad used to be close friends with him but something happened and they never said anything to each other I don't know what happened but it happened 4 years ago.
My family and I were in the car driving to target me and Matt were in he back seat, once we got to the store me and Matt went to Starbucks. I got a grande Carmel iced latte and Matt got a cake pop, I paid and we sat down at one of the tables.
When we were done we threw away our stuff and grabbed a basket, we were going to go shop for school supplies and my mom and dad were getting groceries. We walked to the school supplies and looked around "okay let's look for notebooks and paper first." I said " I really don't like shopping." Matt complained "me either but we need to get school stuff." I said, I picked up 3 notebooks for Matt and 5 for me, and two packs of paper. We went to the office supplies and got pencils and folders. Then we got glue and scissors, we finished picking up the rest of the stuff and went to find my mom and dad. We found them checking out.
We stood next to them and unloaded the basket, they paid and we walked to the car and drove home. While we were driving we drove past the school I have to go back in 2 weeks and it's going to bring back some bad memories. We finally got home and I went straight up to my room and sat on my bed, I sat against my pillow and looked at my phone a new text message. It was piper "why." I whispered to myself. I read the text message and it said "my uncle is in jail now because of you. I can't believe you got out of there, too bad that when you go back to school, well you will see." I read in my head "why me what did I do?" I asked myself
I got another text message and good thing it was not piper or anyone it was my cousin Lia she was 20 and lived right near us I read the text message in my head "tomorrow I am going to go to the mall would you, Amber, and Lexie like to come with me?" I read "sure let me ask them what they want to do."I responded I text Amber and Lexie and asked them, they said yes I went downstairs and asked my mom and she said yes also. "We all can come what time?" I asked Lia "2:00 I will pick you guys up." Lia said
I finally get to take a break from all of this drama
Sorry I have not updated in a while and that this chapter was so short
I'm going to make longer chapters soon
