Chapter 5
(Chloe's POV)
I sat there staring at my white converse and playing with my hands, Amber and Lexie are just sitting against the wall not saying a word. I didn't know where we were it was dark the room was small like a closet. Matt has been starring at a shelf the whole time crying, I knew he was scared. I gave Matt a hug "everything is going to be okay." I said. I looked around the room and saw a small light peeking through what appears to be a door. I can't see much because there is something under the door but not quite long enough because there is still a hole. I looked around and saw red and yellow our school colors, then it came to me. "We are in the janitors closet." I whispered "huh?" Lexie said looking around. I started to feel around the closet, I felt a box and dragged it towards me, it was a tool box. I opened it up and my hands were rumbling through the box "I found it." I whispered "found what?" Matt whispered back "a flashlight." I said
I picked up the flashlight and clicked the button, I looked around the room and it was the janitors closet. I stood up and hit my head on the shelf "are you alright?" Amber asked "yeah I'm fine." I said grinding my teeth at the pain I put my hand on the nob and wiggled it, "it's locked." I said I bent down and took out my shoelace I put it in the lock it didn't work I tried again I heard a click. "If this works we run, we know where to go Matt so follow us." I whispered "okay." Matt said
I opened the door and let Amber and Leslie go then Matt then me. We ran to the front entrance the man was there we all stood there shocked, we knew this guy. "Cafeteria go!" I yelled they all ran and I pushed him and I kicked his knee I knew he had a bad knee he fell down and tried to get up. I ran to the cafeteria and Amber smashed the window with one of the chairs "let's go!" Amber whispered we all jumped out of the window and ran we didn't know where we were going but we ran.
Sorry this is a short chapter but I am going to try to update every day
