I was at the studio with the guys. My parents were at work and I was bored so I decided to go with Liam. It made no sense to me because I found myself sitting on the bench most of the time, texting Josh, my boyfriend.
Between last year and this year, I finally earned enough courage to even walk up to him. We've known each other for asking as we've been in high school. It's only been one month now since we were dating. Everything's going pretty good so far.
I got up to go get something to drink. After a while, I got lost in the hallway. It was like a maze in that building. I always get lost in big buildings like these. I found my way to the food court and got a soda from the vending machine. I sat at the table closest to the window.
I had my phone in one hand texting gone and a Pepsi in the other. I heard the boys coming so I stopped texting Josh. After all, Liam didn't now I was going out with Josh. I'd probably be in trouble if my parents found out because I'm "too young to date". Not only that but Josh is what you would call a "bad boy" so I'm pretty sure my parents are not going to be too happy about that. But, I really like Josh so I guess they're going to have to deal with it.
All the boys came into the cafeteria. They all stopped in their tracks and were staring at me. they didn't notice that I caught them, but it was pretty obvious. Liam, being the over protective brother he is, nudged them and they finally moved. They started mumbling to one another. After five minutes of mumbling to each other, Harry sat down in front of me. I took a sip of my soda.
"Hi, I'm Harry." He said smiling cheekily.
I put the can of soda down, giving him my best smile.
"I'm Emily."
"Can I call you Em, for short?"
"I guess so." I shrugged.
"Well then, I'm Louis." Another boy exclaimed.
I stood up to give each of them a hug. Harry wouldn't let me go so Liam had to step in. They each introduced themselves.
I smiled and went back down to my phone, hoping they would go away so I could text Josh. As soon as they left, I started texting Josh again. That's what I did for the rest of my time, until Liam brought me home. For some particular reason, Harry decided to tag along too so they could "hang". Of course, being boys, they bothered me all night.

I got out of my bed the next day, stretching. I reached for my phone to text my messages, but it wasn't there. I stood up, searching for it. It wasn't on the floor, or the dresser, or the bed, or the nightstand. That's when I began to panic and my heart beat rate increased dramatically.I walked out of my bedroom, acting like everything was normal. I ran across the hall to see if I left it in the bathroom. I'm pretty sure I left it by the sink while I was brushing my teeth.
While I was going through the drawers, Harry walked into the bathroom.
"Good morning." He said, half asleep.
"Good morning." I said, not looking at him.
"Oh, you left this there last night." He said, handing me my phone.
"Oh, thanks." I said, walking out of the bathroom.
I walked back into my bedroom and dropped myself on my bed. I turned on my phone and it was dead. I groaned in frustration. I plugged in my phone. Then Harry came into the room.
"Are you okay?" He asked, taking a seat on my bed.
"Yes." I said rolling my eyes.
"You look angry. Tell me."
"Did I get any messages on my phone?"
"Oh." He paused, "Your boyfriend Josh texted you."
My eyes grew wide at the mention on Josh's name.
"How'd you know he was my boyfriend?"
"I don't know. It had hearts around his name."
"Oh," I paused, "Just please don't tell Liam because I know he's going to freak."
"It's okay. You can trust me."
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry." I said, jumping of the bed and heading towards he kitchen.
I didn't hear footsteps behind me so I assumed he went back to sleep. I pulled the eggs out the fridge and put the pancake mix on the counter.
I picked up the eggs and cracked them into the bowl. I held the bowl in my hands and started beating the eggs with a fork.
Harry, being the idiot, jumped from behind me and scared me. The egg mix fell from my hands and all over my plush pants.
"These were my favorite pants!" I practically screamed at him.
Of course he was laughing at me. I had to get revenge. I took the eggs and I put it in his hair. I felt ashamed for letting my hand linger in his hair. You can't blame me, it's so soft. Before he got the wrong idea, I took my hand out of his luscious hair.
He touched his hair in disgust, crinkling his nose at the egg yolk falling from it. He picked up the box of pancake mix and poured it all over me. I shook my hair, trying to get the powder out. I tackled him on the floor, punching his chest playfully. He flipped us over, holding my hands to my sides.
"Do you give up now?" He asked a cocky smile on his face.
I started to squirm beneath him. There was no use. He obviously had an advantage over me.
"Do you give up now?" He asked bringing his head closer to mine.
He was getting way too close for comfort. I mean his breath was minty and it was tempting, but I knew it would be wrong. But I also knew that I wouldn't get caught. He leaned in closer, waiting for my answer and I reached up and kissed him.
Then I heard Liam coming down the steps. We both jumped up quickly. Liam came into the kitchen to see what was going on. When he saw the huge mess we made, he scolded us like little children and told us to go back upstairs.
As soon as I closed the door of my bedroom, Harry and I burst into laughter. I locked the door and we kissed again. After that, we walked out of the room acting like nothing happened.
Liam was in the shower. My mum came out her room to greet us.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Great." Harry replied, "the mattress is very comfortable."
"That's good." She said smiling before she went back into her room.
"I'm still hungry." I whined.
"Would you like a proper breakfast this time?" He said smirking.
"Please."
"There's a waffle shop down the road I could take you to."
"Okay, sure. Just let me get my shoes and change my pants."
He laughed at what he had done to them earlier. I rolled my eyes at his childish humor. I put on a pair of gray sweatpants. I put my hair in a messy bun. When I walked out of my bedroom, Harry was standing in the same exact spot, staring at my door.
"That was quick. Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, just let me get my phone."
