Charaphter 2

I ran out of the clearing and headed towards an entrance on the other side of the camp. As I pass through it running at top speed, I crashed head along into a white tom with blue eyes. He looked down at me surprised with a bird in his mouth. "What are you doing here?" asked the tom, voice muffled. "I......." I began. "What's the hold up, Cloudtail? The rest of the patrol wants to rest too." asked a silver and white she-cat pushing ahead of Cloudtail. "What are you doing out here, kit?" asked the dark blue eyed she-cat when she put down a red bushy tail thing in front of me. "I a-am t-trying t-to h-hide." I whispered shivering. "Well, I am Ivypool. This is Millie, Bumblestripe, Cloudtail, Poppyfrost, Fernpaw, Lilyheart, Hollypaw and Dewdrop." pointing to each cat as she said their names. As I looked where she pointed I saw a gray tabby she-cat, a pale gray tom with black stripes, the white tom I crashed into, a tortoiseshell she-cat, a small golden tabby tom, another tortoiseshell she-cat, a small black she-cat and a white-and-gray tom. "I'm Featherkit." I squeaked puffing up my chest proudly. "Well, Featherkit. You are surpose to stay in camp." meowed Dewdrop. "Ivypool, can you carry my prey?" asked Dewdrop. "Sure." replied Ivypool. Dewdrop picked me up and brought me back inside ahead of the group and brought me back to the nursery.
When we were in the entrance of the nursery we heard a screech. As my eyes ajusted to the dark, I saw a black shape lying on the ground barely moving with a pool of blood pooling around the shape. "Nightkit!" I yowled as I wriggled out of Dewdrop's grip. I ran towards him and started licking his face. "Featherkit." whispered Nightkit. "Nightkit, I am sorry, so sorry!" I wailed. "Shush, Featherkit. You got to let Nightkit rest." said Leafpool, gently nugging me towards Dewdrop. "I won't leave him after what I did to him by accident!" I wailed rushing towards Nightkit and buring my nose in his fur. "Okay then, Featherkit." meowed Leafpool looking defeated. "But we got to get him to the medicine clearing, first. Dewdrop, can you go get Lionblaze, Bramblestar, and Squirrelflight and come back, please?" Dewdrop nodded his head and went to go get them.

"Okay, Featherkit can you tell me how this happened?" asked Leafpool. "I was sleeping this morning when Spottedkit, Nightkit and Smokekit told me to open my eyes and I said I will if they would leave me alone. Then Nightkit said to open my eyes now and jumped on me. I thought some cat was trying to attack me and....... and...... then....... this happened by accident." I meowed sheepishly. "Will he live?" "Yes, if he can make through the night. Now, where are they?" asked Leafpool.
"My kit!" wailed a ginger she-cat as she bursted into the nursery. "How did this happen, Leafpool? How?" demaned the she-cat. "It was an accident, Squirrelflight. If Shadekit didn't get me in time then Nightkit will be in Starclan." replyed Leafpool calmly. "Now, Bramblestar, Lionblaze, put Nightkit on top of you. Squirrelflight, make sure he doesn't fall. Dewdrop, bring Featherkit to the clearing." instrucked Leafpool.
