September 18th, 2002
"You're not just going to leave are you?" By now it was hard to hold back tears.  Dean Winchester has been your best friend since you can remember.  Now you were 13 and 8th grade just started a month ago.  Ever since 5th grade you have been head over heals for Dean, and he only made it worse. Bye was so perfect with anything he did.  The two of you were so close it was common for him to give you a kiss on the cheek to help boost confidence.  And now the boy you were falling for just has to up and leave without any warning.  He showed up to say goodbye. 

"(Y/n) my DAD is being followed! What am I supposed to do?!" Deans tone was hard and you had no clue why he was mad at you.  "By what? A werewolf?! You could handle that!"  You threw back at him.  Both of your mothers died when you were young.  Your dad hunted for a few years after but was killed two years ago.  From then on you lived with your aunt who adored the winchesters! "It's much bigger" deans eyes filled with fear when he said this.  "Dean, what is it?" You tried to sound sympathetic "Its a demon! We have to leave so we can try and loose it.  But don't worry you have your aunt you'll be fine! I promise!" His charm wasn't working on you because by now you were bawling.  He pulled you into a tight hug and you felt your heart rip when his dad honked.  "Promise me you'll be careful." You said quietly.  "I promise" he said before giving you a kiss on the cheek and getting in the car. 
Dean Winchester.  Should have known we would be torn apart.  I can't believe he'll never know.  Your mind was flooded but you focused on one thing, your last few words.  "Be careful" and "I promise" all you hoped was he could keep this promise.

This was supposed to be an easy hunt but it all went wrong within seconds. You were in an old wear house hunting a djin when you were hit from behind. Every once in a while you could get glimpses of reality before you drifted away into another world. It was amazing. The life you always wanted with the best man in the world. Dean Winchester. You ran into them about 4 months ago on a hunt and you now lived in the bunker and hinted together. Living with him was a dream come true you just wished he had the same feelings for you. For all you knew Dean wasn't even looking for you!

That clearly wasn't true!

"Hey! Hey relax! This is real!!"  Dean was holding your hand as your eyes slowly opened.  You were in a cheap motel bed and Dean was kneeling next to it.  You knew it was real by one detail, the pain.  "Dean?" You voice was very horse and barely a whisper.  "Drink" he have you a glass of cold water and you gladly drank it as you say up against the headboard of the cheap creaky bed.  "Where's Sam? Is he ok??"  You said scanning the room.  "He's getting rid of the djin's body.  How you feelin anyway?"  Dean was super careful with you.  "Fine just super tired."  Your whole body felt like something was trying to push it into a dark room of sleep.  "Good.  Hey can I ask you something?"  Deans eyes suddenly filled with worry.  "Of course." You said turning a but to face him easier.  "When a djin got me I was put in a fake life. Did that..happen... To you?" This was one thing you didn't want to talk about.   "Yeah" you mumbled knowing what his next sentence would be.  "What was yours like?" Your eyes clouded with tears as you fought them back.  One slipped and  Dean brushed it away with his thumb.  With this touch you got a crazy surge of confidence.

"I was living with you! We had a daughter, Marry Ann to be exact, and she was 3! Dean only 3!! We were patents and we managed to get out of the hunting life!" You took few breaths and you voice was shaky. Speaking of it made you want that life even more. "(Y/n) I..." Dean tried to say but you cut him off. "But there's more! Bobby, Kevin, Charlie, Jess, they were all alive! It was one happy family! That's all I want!!! A great life with you!" With that last sentence you threw a hand over your mouth. "That's a relief!" Dean mumbled. Did he really say that now? "What?" You questioned looking at his huge grin. "I mean, I love you! I have for a long time. The day we ran into you on that hunt my life seemed to have some sun shining in it again. You are the world to me!" Dean was so sweet through his entire speech and you didn't know this side to him existed. "I love you too." You said looking him dead in the eyes. Dean gave you a quick kiss "I'm glad." He mumbled.

He went to the table to grab both of you a burger. You scarfed yours down and ate all the fries. Guess that's what a djin can do to you! After watching an hour and a half of Game of Thrones you were passed out in his arms. This didn't last long. Moments after you were in a nice dream you were woken up.

"Hey is she... WHAT'D I MISS?!?!" Sam yelled with one eyebrow raised. "Chill out! She's fine" Dean said gettin ready to explain. "Yeah okay I'm guessing her reality was about you?" Sam asked with a smug grin on his face. "Yeah" you mumbled. "DUDE YOU WERE RIGHT!!! WE HAD A DAUGHTER AND SHE LOVES ME!!" Dean yelled happily. You turned a deep shade of red and layers your head on Deans chest conceding it with a pillow. "Sorry." Dean whispered lifting the pillow slightly. "You're lucky you're Dean freakin Winchester!" You said sitting back up. "What do you mean?" Sam asked completely confused. "Why do you think I cried when you left when we were 13? I was head over heels for my best friend!" You said laughing. "So is that why you got reallllly happy when I have you a little kiss?" Dean asked with his eyebrows furrowed. "Told you! It always showed Dean!!!" Sam chimed in. "Yeah okay... Can we talk about something besides me?" You asked once again blushing. "Sure. Come here." Dean said pulling you back into him. He three of you talked and you felt a huge wave of relief come over you as you fell into a deep sleep with Dean Winchester holding you tight in his arms. He made you feel so happy, safe, warm, and most of all just made your life brighter.

Your dream had finally come true.
