Chapter 4: Movies

Alex's POV:
I walk home and run up to my room. I put on a white crop top with a light pink high waisted skirt. Then I put on my floral vans and I curl my hair.

I walk downstairs and I go back outside. I see that Matt was still there, so I walk over to him and say, "so when will you be moved in completely" he smiles and says "why? Are you excited to have your crush next door" I blush and he smiles. I say "no, I'm just excited to have a neighbor who isn't a bitch" he laughs and I say "so your not secretly a bitch are you" he says "no of course not" he smiles and I say "well, I'm gonna head home now" I turn around but he grabs my arm and says "wait Alex, wanna go to the movies with me at 10:00" I say "I'd love too" he smiles and I blush. He says "hey will you put your number in my phone" I nod and grab his phone. I put my number in and put my name as "wife👑" I hand him his phone then run off.

Matt's POV:
I look at my phone she put her name as "Wife👑" I laugh at it. I put my phone in my pocket and walk into the house. I tell my mom I'm going to the movies in a hour. She says "okay sweetie" I put on a blue button up with khakis and blue vans. I check my phone it was 9:48 I decided to head over to Alex's house.

I knock on the door and she answers I say "wow, y-you look amazing" she blushes. I grab her hand and walk her to the car. I open her door for her and we drive off I say "so what movie do you want to watch" she says "how about Paper towns" I say "sounds good" we park and get our tickets.

I say "what kind of candy do you want" she says "starburst of course" I laugh and say "one large popcorn, two boxes of starburst and 2 medium Cokes" the lady says "that'll be $7 dollars even" I hand her the money and the lady gives us all the stuff. I carry my drink and popcorn and Alex Carries the candy and her drink. We take our seats and the movie starts.

In the middle of the movie I see that Alex started to cry I say "Cry baby" she laughs and says "it's a sad movie" I laugh and I ate some popcorn. I liked that Alex wasn't nervous to eat in front of a guy unlike most girls.

I was about to say something when i get a starburst launched into my mouth. I laugh and look at Alex. She opens her mouth and I throw one into her mouth. We turn our attention to the last few minutes of the movie. The movie ends and Alex and I throw our trash away and head home.
