Best Mistake:CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Selena-

I entered my house, I see my mom and Brian watching tv. I walked towards them, I want to tell them that someone wants me in there store. I want to tell them that..... I'm moving to New York. New York is such a beautiful place, I haven't been but I've seen photos and it's beautiful.

"Hey guys" they turned there head and a smile formed on there lips.

"Hey Selena" mom smiled

"Hey baby " Brian smiled and put his whole focus on me.

" I got some good news" I tell them with a smile, hoping they would like it.

"And what's that?" Brian asked with mom staring at me.

" Lisa told one of her friends about my design and he's a wedding dresser design and he wants me to work for him" a huge grin plastered on my face when I was telling them. They both got up immediately

" I'm so proud of you selena" mom said engulfing me into a hug. I smiled a little and hugged back. Brian joined in the hug and it was this huge group hug.

" Uh, erm, um... it's in New York" they broke out of the hug and looked at me like they weren't expecting that news at all.

"New York??" Brian repeated what I said making me nod.

"Wow" mom said making me slightly chuckle.

" Are you planning on going?" Mom asked. Am I planning? It's kinda....I don't know, it's new York for crying out loud. It's a beautiful place, it's the bug city.

" you should go " Brian said. I lift my head up and looked at Brian, he looked serious. His posture was still.

" I should?" I tilted my head confused

"Yes " Brian said

" you should Selena, it's a once and a life time opportunity.... you should go " mom said.

"Hm.... I should, thanks guys I really needed this. I'm going to go to bed." I smiled a little and walked upstairs to my room. I really thought they wouldn't let me go. I thought they would want me to stay but I have this feeling they just want me to be away from Harry.

I don't know what to do.

I sneakily walked downstairs to see if my parents were there and to my luck they weren't. I silently slipped on my shoes and put on a jacket and walked out of the house, locking the door behind me.

I walked into the forest, and once I walked there I saw a figure, I tilted my head to the side and walked forward to have a better look. Once I had a better look, my eyes widen seeing who it was. Was this some kind of sigh to not leave?

"Harry?" He shot his head up from the hear of my voice. His eyes landed on mine.

"Selena? W-Want are you doing here?" He cleared his throat

" I need some time to think.....I'm going to leave" I turned my heel and walked the other way.

"No wait" harry was infront of me, I managed to look away not really wanting to see him.

" harry, I want to start new, without you in my life, I can't do that with you everywhere." I told him

" I know" he smirked " Hi, I'm Harry styles.....and you are?" I frown my eyes a little and tilted my head

"What are you doing?" I looked at him confused.

" haha, starting new..... what your name love?" He asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and bite my bottom lip

" I'm Selena Gomez" I tell him casually

"Beautiful name" he smiled. I rolled my eyes and turned to where I was going....away from him.

"Where are you going?" He called out. I laughed a little and turned to face him

" Somewhere" I called back. He ran towards me and pulled my hand. I looked down at our touching hand and he let go.

"Erm, How are you?" He asked

"Confused...."

"Why?" He seemed interested. Should I tell him?

Oh what the hey.

" I got a new job" I smiled

"Selena., that's great news" he tells me.

"Thanks....." it's kinda awkward

"Are you going to take it?" He asked

" I don't know.....it's in New york" I tell him

" New York???" He shouted " you can't go" he tells me as I'm taken back from his out burst.

"Excuse me?"

"Sorry. Uh, look Selena you can't take it. Are you sure this is what you want or because you don't want to be near someone? You can't run from your feelings" he tells me serious

" run from my feelings? I'm the one who got hurt. I got to go"

"Selena wait!!" I turned around and looked at him. He got closer to me and looked into my eyes.

" I'm sorry I hurt you okay. I'm welling to start over.....with you. Selena I don't want to lose you....I not asking for you to take me back....what I'm asking for is for another second chance"

"Of what?"

" Becoming Friends" he tells me, I shake my head.

" I can't do that"

" yes you can. Selena please," I sigh,

" will I regret this?"

" maybe, but I'm trying" I laughed a little.

"Fine"

A huge smile came across his face and I couldn't help but smile.

Friends....how hard can that be?
