Chapter 76 Wedding Day Part Two

Captain Chiang knocked on the groom's door. Six fully armed Elites followed at his heels. Without waiting for an invitation, he entered, waiting silently while the soldiers ushered everyone out. Although the groom's family and servants protested loudly, they could not do anything against the armed guards.

"What is the meaning of this?" blustered the groom's father.

Captain Chiang bowed to the old Lord. "I apologize Lord Yuan but I have some instructions and advice from Lord Zhai to his new son-in law."

"You can tell me. I'm his father."

"I'm sorry my Lord. It's for his ears alone."

He marched in whilst the armed Elites escorted the old lord out and forcefully barred entry.

"Lord Yuan," Captain Chiang begun, looking at the half drunk lordling.

"Are you here to congratulate me?" he laughed merrily holding up his small bottle of wine. "Lord Zhai doesn't need to do that! No need to be so formal cos we're going to be faaaamily," he slurred.

The soldier cleared his throat to deliver his Lord's commands. Late last night, Vice-Captain Xin had reported to him Ghost's warnings about Lord Yuan. He in turn had informed Lord Zhai. After some digging and swift 'information' from reliable sources, they confirmed Ghost's words. Servants, serving maids and guards (several of which were Zhang spies) passed along the truth with details of overheard conversations and times condemning Lord Yuan and his friends. Then they reported the matter to the Spymaster.

"Lord Zhai knows about your little bet."

His statement was like cold water splashed onto him. Lord Yuan was instantly sober.

"What are you talking about? What bet?" he blustered putting a brave front.

Captain Chiang marveled at the lordling's audacity but continued. "So he wishes to give you some advice as you enter his House."

"Lord Yuan, as the Ruling Lord's new son-in law, you are to treat Lady Shuang with the utmost courtesy and respect." The veteran soldier then caught the young lord's gaze and held it. "Do not force her tonight if she does not want to consummate the marriage ... or at any other time."

"What? Do you mean to say that I can't have sex with my own wife? How preposterous!"

"Of course you can ... if she is willing. But, you are not to force her, dose her with any drugs including any aphrodisiacs ... " he glared knowingly at the lordling's guilty expression, "... or be violent with her in any way. You will also not allow any of your friends, associates or anyone to violate her person."

His eyes widen and his jaw dropped in surprise. "Ehh? How did you know?" he blurted.

Captain Chiang's expression darkened. His spontaneous reaction confirmed Ghost's timely warnings. What a vile man this lord was!

"You will also not violate her privacy in any way. No watching, understand?"

Lord Yuan recovered quickly scoffing. "I'm her husband. I can do whatever I like with her!"

He thought of all the erotic plans he had for her that night and the following weeks to come. He was going to teach her a few lessons on how to properly behave as his woman, starting with punishments for her unbecoming behavior that day! Shuang being an inexperienced maiden would make her sexual reactions all the more exciting and deliciously real unlike the seasoned courtesans he regularly visited. He couldn't wait! Even now he was getting aroused just thinking of it. He was going to make her beg for mercy and plead for his forgiveness! As her lawful husband, he could order her to shut up afterwards. She would have to obey him!! He had been looking forward to the moment for a long, long time.
