Today is the first day of school. I'm not that nervous because I know Dakota will be there with me. When I arrive I see Dakota, so I walk up behind him quietly.
I scream from behind him making him jump.
"Holy shit Kayley you scared me!" Dakota said
we both laugh and walk into school. We only have two classes together in the morning which really sucks.
After school was over I went to Dakota's house to hangout. we usually just talk or watch movies and cuddle.
We were really close and I liked that. Sometimes I wish Dakota and I were more than friends but I don't want to screw up our friendship. I want to tell him but I don't know how.
We picked a horror movie on Netflix and laid together. I looked up at him to see his eyes glued to the t.v. I can't help but smile. He's so adorable when he focuses. Dakota looks down at me and giggles. He has the cutest smile.
"What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing. You're just beautiful, Kayley."
I think my heart just stopped. I can't believe he just called me beautiful. I know I'm blushing right now so I look away and watch the movie. Now I know I really like Dakota. I just need to find the time to tell him. I hope me likes me back.
We must have fallen asleep because I woke up to a phone call from my mom saying she was coming to pick me up. She's okay with me being with Dakota since we've been friends for so long our parents know each other.
When I got home I ate dinner, took a shower, and went to bed.
