More Than Friends.

Chapter 4.

In the morning when I woke up, I noticed Dakota wasn't in bed with me anymore.

I still couldn't believe what he said last night. It made me really happy and less nervous to tell him how I feel.

I got out of his bed and went to look for him. I went to the kitchen to see he was making pancakes for everyone. It was honestly so cute watching him cook. He turned around to set up the table when he saw me watching him.

" good morning kay. How long have you been there?"
"Not long. How did you sleep last night?" I asked.
" really good actually. You kept me warm" he said with a smirk on his face.

I laughed and sat down at the table. His brothers came in a few minutes later along with his mom and dad. We all sat down around the table and enjoys Dakota's pancakes.

"These pancakes are delicious Kota" i said
"Thanks Kay I made them special for you."

I looked up at him and smiled.

"Ooooh Dakota has girlfriend" Gavin started singing.
I immediately started blushing. " n-no we're not dating. Just friends"

Dakota's parents got up to go to work and took Gavin and Avery to their friends house on the way.

After they left I helped Dakota clean up the kitchen. While we cleaned we blasted Shawn Mendes through the house. When stitches came on Kota started singing and dancing to the song. It was the funniest things I've seen in a long time.

When we finished it was about 1:00 in the afternoon. I checked my phone and say a text from my mom asking when I was coming home. I asked if I could stay longer and she said yes. I'm glad because I wasn't ready to leave Dakota yet.

We Laid in his bed watching Netflix. He put on another scary movie that we haven't seen yet.

" I'm sorry about my brothers. They can be embarrassing sometimes." He said
"No Kota its okay. I thought is was cute" I replied smiling.
"Really?"
"Yeah really" I said laughing.
I sat up and looked am him with the biggest smile on my face.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face?" Kota said sitting up.
" no" i chuckled. " you just make me really happy. I don't know what I would do without you."
He hugged me then laid back down and I did the same. He put his head on my stomach so I played with his hair.

" Kayley can I tell you something?"

Sorry for the cliff hanger! My phone is about to die so I'm gonna leave it charge for a bit. I'll update as soon as I can.💕 xoxo ~ Kay
