Ga Eul groaned as she began to redeliver her breakfast from this morning for a second time today. The ladies room at Shinhwa hotel was very clean but also had very public eyes as she heard a couple of heels clacking out of the room.
"Ga Eul?" A voice asked as she stood up.
"I'm fine Jan Di, must just be some food poisoning or something. You know that stomach bug has been going around." Jan Di stood outside of the stall waiting for her friend to emerge.
"Ga Eul, you should go to the doctor, you've been vomiting for a couple of days. Jun Pyo, says you should go. I already asked, and he agreed for Ji Hoo Oppa's grandfather to see."
"Thank you, but I'm still planning out the political conference next month and also I promised Yi Jung I would swing by his shop today to find out how many pieces he is auctioning off this month for charity at his silent auction in two weeks."
"I don't know how you can still work with him after everything happened." Jan Di mumbled. Ga Eul hung her head, and wiped away the sweat from her forehead.
"Its work related. We don't talk about that at all. I don't want to talk about it anymore either. It was just a stupid accident that never should have happened." Ga Eul said as she stepped out of the bathroom along with Jan Di following behind her. "And I'm really fine, I'll get over the stomach bug soon, besides its probably just because my cycle is out of whack." Jan Di stopped in her tracks as she stared wide eyed at her friend. Her usual doe eyes looking more wide han normal. Jan Di quickly stopped Ga Eul and dragged her over to the elevator. Hitting the CEO's suite button repeatedly she grabbed out her phone.
"Jan Di, what are you doing?"
"I'm telling Woo Bin to get his butt over here now he's taking you to the doctors. The slow elevator was seemingly ing gliding at a usual pace.
"Jan Di!"
"Also I'm telling Ji Hoo Oppa to schedule an immediate blood test with his grandfather." She said, quickly typing away on her phone.
"Jan Di what are you talking about I'm fine. Just a little-"
"Ga Eul!" She yelled turning to her friend with tears in her eyes. "How long has it been since the incident?"
"I don't know, I'm not keeping track of that." She said with a blush rising on her cheeks. The elevator doors opened to Jun Pyo standing talking on his phone.
"Yeah, shes right here. Jan Di! Why are you asking for a blood test?" He asked with a sever worry in his own eyes.
"For Ga Eul not me." Jan Di said dragging her friend into Jun Pyo's office.
"Jan Di!" Ga Eul said loudly, stopping her friend in her tracks.
"Ga Eul, think about it. You missed your last period. You've been throwing up for days and you eat almost twice as more as before."
"I can't be. It was only once." Ga Eul defended sinking into the coach.
"What is going on?" Jun Pyo asked as he shut his office door.
"She is saying, I'm Pregnant. Possibly." Ga Eul said, pulling her knees up to her chest.
Yi Jung stared at the wheel. the Lump of clay that he was to mode into a flower vase for an upcoming event was lying there mocking him. He knew that Ga Eul was coming by later to take in what he was supposed to be creating for the upcoming fundraiser for Art in Schools, but he couldn't pull himself to touch it. Images of a night he thought he couldn't remember came back. Not really images, but feelings. It wasn't in the beginning. Smoothing out the clay, was nothing, just mindless work, but it was when he started to craft the vase was when he started to have moments of clarity.
The Loss night as he calls it, starts to seep in. When his fingers would trail, instead of clay he was feeling was a smooth velvety skin under his touch. A bump in the clay, wasn't a reminder to work it out, but instead was like he grazed over one of her swollen nipples. Moving his hands up the body of the vase, seemed more sensual then it was supposed to. Seemingly, his hands wanted to fold around the back of her own curves that would flash in his mind. A sweet taste would enter into his mouth, making him swallow at the weird sensation.
Yi jung didn't understand why he was remembering the Loss Night when he was speculating, but it was starting to interfere with his work. Ga Eul, took everything in strides, seemingly making it stated that they were to never talk about it again, in the presence of work related content. As for a personal encounter, she made sure that there was none of that. They didn't hang out in the same clubs or go to the same bars, or even the same grocery stores. Outside of work, she did not exist to him. Yet he seemingly felt a urge to see her. Yi Jung was chalking it up to curiosity. This was the first women he had ever slept with, and not remembered in vivid details what went on. Just moments of intimate touches that he couldn't remember doing before to anyone.
Suddenly his phone went off, and he quickly picked it up, as if he was caught doing something he shouldn't have been. Woo Bin's name flashed in front of the screen as he quickly slide the bar over.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Where are you?" He demanded. His tone made Yi Jung pay more attention to his friend.
"My studio, Why?" He asked. His studio door opened to a flushed face Woo Bin.
"Grab your coat, come with me, now." Woo Bin ordered Yi Jung. Yi Jung recognized that tone from an incident where a rival gang member was in Woo Bin's father's territory, and he had to get out before the fight began.
"Whats going on?" He asked, as he picked up the lightweight jacket. the fall summer breeze was just starting to hit Seoul. His hairs on the back of his neck stood up as made their way to the car. Once inside, Woo bin took off before Yi Jung had a moment to buckle his seatbelt.
"Dude! Whats going on?"
"Do you remember anything from the night with Ga Eul?" Yi Jung flushed as he looked back at the bits and pieces he did remember. Of course he wasn't sure if that was just his imagination playing a trick on him or him actually remembering real world information.
"No, not really." He lied.
"Do you remember finding, protection the next morning?" Yi Jung's eyes slowly grew wide as he looked at the road in front of him. "Ga Eul has been throwing up for the past couple of days. Her period hasn't come either." Woo Bin explained.
"Wha-what?" Yi Jung stuttered, quickly turned wide eyed to Woo Bin.
"She's at Yoon Seok-young's office right now getting checked. Ji Hoo is with her. Jan Di is trying to keep Jun pyo calm so that he doesn't fire those two even though he said he wouldn't."
"Are we sure this is mine?" Yi jung asked. Woo Bin suddenly stopped the car and hit Yi Jung on the arm. "Dude!" He yelled. Yi Jung locked eyes with a very pissed off Woo Bin. IN this moment he realized with just the look his friend gave him, how dangerous of a person he actually was.
"Ga Eul has never been like that. Shes only been with her ex once and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. Do not ever tell anyone you just asked that. Got it."
"yes." yi jung answered turning his head forward. They resumed their way to the clinic.
"I'm going to do a sonogram while we are at it, to get a visual for sure." Dr. Yoon said as he put some gel on Ga Eul's stomach. Ji Hoo was holding her hand as she wiped a tear from her eye. The test had come back positive to no one's real surprise, and Dr. Yoon wanted to make sure the baby was developing. A loud yell came from the waiting room. Ji Hoo gave Ga Eul's hand a squeeze as he left the room. Only to return with a flushed face Woo Bin and a pale looking Yi Jung. Yi Jung walked over slowly as Ga Eul began to tear up. Her hand curled around the sheet. Dr. Yoon brought her stomach up on the screen. A small smile etched across his face.
"Congratulations miss Ga Eul. It's twins." Ga Eul turned her head to the screen. Dr. Yoon pointed out two little peanut areas as as he froze the screen. Yi Jung stumbled over to where Ga Eul was lying. His hand slipped into hers as he looked at the screen.
"Twins." He muttered. He gripped her tightly interlocking his fingers with her own. Giving her a reassuring squeeze as she began to cry.
"We're having twins."
