Cassidy and Kaiden

1 year later

It has been a year since Mano died, i show a picture of Mano to Alex every night before he goes to bed to remember him, Alex is turning three soon and me and Kaiden are going to do a little birthday party, we have invited everyone to come and we are doing the party at my dad's house.

"Kaiden do you have the plastic cups with you?" I asked him when i put Alex in the car, we are going to Alex to Charlotte so she can get him ready to come to my dad's house for the party later.

" Yeah they are in the boot with the other things." He shouted from the apartment, he walked out and closed the door. "Do you have the banners?"

"No, you said you had them and put them in the boot." I said closing Alex's door, opening the boot and trying to find the banners, not luck. "They must be in the Kitchen, you put them in the  car and i'll get them."

I ran back into the apartment and to the kitchen, they was on the kitchen top near the microwave, i dodged the many toys that he got and closed the door and locked it, i handed Kaiden the banners to put in the boot and got in the driver's seat. Kaiden got in the car and we was on our way to Charlotte's.

"Here, in here are his clothes for the party, it will start at 6pm, don't be late and tell Calum and Ricki not to be late please and no heavy booze only beer please." I said, Charlotte nodded at closed the door. i got back in the car.

"Stop stressing." Kaiden said, i gave him a death stare look.

"I will when the party starts and everything is perfect." I said starting to drive off round the corner.

"Is everything in the car then?" Dad asked when i brought one of the boxes into the house, Kaiden brought another then Derek, i think there is only one more.

"Go get the last one." i shouted to dad in the kitchen.

"Right, this banner can go over that mirror in the living room the other over the door before the guest come and then we can keep the door open then they can just walk in." I said handing Derek and Kaiden the banners. dad walked in with the last box.

i got the cardboard plates and plastic cups and set them out with the napkins on the table outside, Kaiden came and placed the juice on the table near the cups and then walked over to the cooler and placed the beer inside for the men and the other adults. ]

"Alex is going to stay here tonight." I said when he walked back, he took my waist and pulled me in for a hug. "Come on Kai we have lots to do." I looked around i need to put the games on the grass and stuff.

"Wait, it doesn't start till 6 it is only 4." Kaiden said still holding on, he kissed me and i gave in, i hugged him and kissed him back.

"Right, come on back to preparing the party, put the parcels over there and then get the bouncy castle up." I said handing him the three pass the parcels and the box with the bouncy castle in.

"Happy birthday, to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Alex, Happy birthday to you." Alex blew out his candles on his batman cake and i cut it ready for people to have a slice after they had their lunch from the buffet, i put the cake inside the fridge and thought about Mano, he would have loved this party, seeing his little boy turning three. but he is up in the sky watching him play with his granddad's and his friends. being happy.

"Cassidy, this is so nice, you did a good job." Hudson said walking into the kitchen bringing in the wrapping paper he ripped open. "Mano would love this."

"he planned this about half a year before he died." I said showing the plan Mano drew and the the actual thing outside.

"He loved Alex, he wanted a big party to show that his little man is three." Hudson said patting me on the back.

"Well, we need to be getting back to the party, come on." Hudson dragged me outside and handed me the beer.

"I'm driving." i said handing her the beer back.

"You can stay here, can't you." She handed me it back and i started to drink it, Kaiden came up to me.

"I thought you was the one driving us home." he said smiling and kissing me on the cheek.

"We are staying here." I said downing the beer and getting me another one, and starting to drink the second beer.

"Me and Derek are going out for a meal, we planned it months ago, we can't look after Alex tonight." Dad kissed Alex who was on the sofa asleep, me and Kaiden was sat on the chair in the other corner of the living room.

"We have been drinking anyway so we have to stay here." I said after kissing dad and giving him a drink. "We will clean up tomorrow even with a hangover."

"Yeah, see you two later." Kaiden said, giving dad a lame handshake because he is drunk.

"We need to put him in bed." I said standing up. "Can you pick him up." Kaiden walked up to the sofa and picked him up, he walked up the stairs and placed him in the bedroom.

"Right, night." I said opening my old bedroom door.

"Wait, come here." I smiled and then walked up to him. "House to ourselves, i know what am going to do."

"Well, im drunk, and you are, i cant remember a lot." I said. "I want to go to sleep."

"Give in please, he is fast asleep." I walked up to him and kissed him, he didn't know what i was doing, he then he kissed me, i jumped on him and he walked us into my bedroom.

"Kaiden, come on, we have to clean.... ooh my head is killing. we need to clean the house." i said, trying to get out of his grip and standing up.

"Come on we have a hangover, Alex will still be asleep." He pulled me back down. i put on my dressing gown and walked out of the door.

"Get up now." I shouted, Alex ran down the room and jumped on the bed with Kaiden, i laughed at his struggling to but the pillow over his head. Alex was bouncing all over the bed annoying Kaiden.

"Alex, come on, i have a hangover."  he stood up and got his clothes on, he walked out of the door.

"You happy." He walked down the stairs, i laughed and followed him.

"Help mummy Kai Kai." Alex shouted from the top of the stairs then laughed walking back to his bedroom.

"He loves annoying you." I said picking up the plastic cups and putting them in the bin liner.

"Well, he loves it when im hangover." He said putting the beer bottles in the bin liner her has.

"Well, least he liked his birthday." I said smiling outside at all the shit that is there.

"Now, can we clean." Kaiden said throwing a plastic cup at me. 

 Life is great right now.
