The tension in the office was palpable. The employees moved around cautiously, their whispers barely above a murmur. Everyone knew something was brewing, but no one dared to address it outright. Kiara's heart raced as she walked to her desk, trying to ignore the weight of the stares following her. She had barely sat down when she noticed a message on her screen:

"Urgent meeting in the conference room. Attendance mandatory."

Her stomach twisted. She had a sinking feeling this was about her.

In The Conference Room

Agastya stood at the head of the table, his presence commanding as always. But today, there was something colder about him. His usual air of calm authority was replaced by visible tension. His jaw was set, his eyes stormy, and the silence in the room was deafening as everyone waited for him to speak.

"This company has prided itself on integrity and trust," Agastya began, his voice sharp and cutting. "But recently, that trust has been betrayed. Our confidential project details were leaked, costing us a major deal and tarnishing our reputation."

His words hung in the air like a guillotine. Kiara sat frozen, her pulse thundering in her ears.

Agastya's eyes scanned the room before settling on her. "Unfortunately, the evidence points to one of our own."

The room collectively gasped, and all eyes turned to Kiara.

"Kiara Mehta," he said, his voice cold and detached, "you've been implicated in the unauthorized dissemination of sensitive company information."

Kiara shot to her feet, her voice trembling but strong. "I didn't do this, Agastya. Someone's framing me!"

His gaze hardened. "The evidence doesn't lie. Emails from your account. A suspicious activity report from the IT department. And now, multiple instances of leaked data."

"I don't know how those emails were sent," she said, her voice breaking. "You have to believe me."

Agastya's lips pressed into a thin line. "Belief doesn't change facts, Kiara. Effective immediately, you are suspended from all duties pending a full investigation. Security will escort you out."

The words hit her like a physical blow. She stared at him, her heart breaking at the coldness in his tone. She wanted to scream, to shake him and make him see the truth.

"Agastya," she whispered, her voice barely audible, "you know me. You know I wouldn't do this."

But he looked away. "This meeting is adjourned."

The walk back to her desk felt like an eternity. The stares of her colleagues were unbearable-some filled with pity, others with judgment. She packed her belongings in silence, her hands shaking as she shoved her things into a box.
