Tony's POV
Levi came back into the room right as things were getting interesting. He was wet because the pattering raindrops on the windows had got to him. Levi always had this grin on his face or this look in his eye that made him look like he was about to pull a prank on you. That look was gone. It was replaced with this look of wonder and amazement. Almost like the look I always found in Sophie's eyes.
"Gwen," he said instantly addressing the girl sitting on the edge of the couch. "We need to go down to the creek. We need to look in the Stone Room."
"Wait," Gwen said standing up without taking her eyes off Levi. "Back up. What did the notebook say?"
"Um it said stuff about what I should do about some....stuff." Levi said. "But it told us to look in the room! She must have wrote something there!"
"Wait," Emmie said. "what's this room?"
Gwen pealed her eyes off Levi for a split second. "You'll see when we get there."
"No. "I said. "You brought it up, now you have to tell us."
"It's this place down in the forest by the creek and if you look hard enough you can find this room made of stones.." Gwen started.
Levi finished for her. "And all the kids in the neighborhood go there and we put special things in there or write on the walls. It's like a secret place just for the teens."
"That sounds so cool." Ava said.
"It is." Gwen said.
"So why don't we go?" Levi asked putting his hand on the doorknob.
"Levi." I said. I knew about the room, but I didn't know it was called that. "It's raining."
"SO?" He said.
"Oh no." Gwen said. "That rain will screw up my hair and I cannot have that happen."
"Fine then." Levi said. "Can someone get me a towel?"
Gwen walked off to find him something to dry off with.
"So do you guys want to continue on with our game?" I asked. They nodded. "Ava it would be your turn."
So we all sat down. The order on the couch went Ava, Me, Levi, Emmie, then Charlie sitting in the chair.
"Okay," Ava said. "Charlie, what is the biggest thing you regret?"
Charlie was silent for a moment while we all waited. He looked at me they looked away when he said "I regret not telling Sophie Anne that I love her."
It was like the world froze. No one said anything and everyone's eyes were big as they looked back and forth between me and Charlie.
"Yeah," Ava said. "I think that we all loved her."
Charlie looked straight at her and with a look in his eyes that I didn't recognize, he said. "Not like I did."
I cleared my throat. "Um am I missing something? Because I can sear you just said you loved the girl of my dreams."
He sadly smiled at me. "I do love her."
I didn't know how to respond. Charlie was everyone's dream guy. He was a good listener, funny, smart, and probably attractive, I don't know. So when everyone was looking at me I didn't know what to do.
"So you just love her?" I said. "You weren't even dating her!"
"I have loved her since I met her." Charlie said. Ava let out a soft aw. "I just never told her. And they you guys started dating and I was so upset."
