Gwen's POV

Gosh. I sat in the room that belonged to my brother, Tyler, on my phone trying to distract myself from the fact that I was in the same room as my dead best friend's ex boyfriend. Did I mention he is shirtless? And unconscious? Yeah. I felt supper awkward. So I laid a cold wash cloth on his head, and one on his shoulder. I think Charlie tripped him and he fell on a rock or something because there was a huge bruise there. That was an interesting fight. I've seen better/worse. When Tony woke up, we had a conversation. By the end, i was close to him and cold see his abbs. Don't stare, I told myself. Sorry, I can't help being a flirt. I left the room so he cold get changed, but I felt my cheeks burn up the whole time.

When I got downstairs, I saw Emmie and Ava drooling over Charlie and Levi was watching some show. I walked over to Charlie and asked him how he was doing.

"Okay." He responded.

"Your first fight?" I asked.

He shrugged. "First serious one."

Ava giggled. Emmie rolled her eyes at her.

I sighed. "You should talk to him."

Charlie looked almost sad. "I don't think he would want to talk to me."

I shrugged. All heads turned when Tony started to slowly descend the staircase [now fully dressed]. Emmie and Ava looked kind of disgusted. Levi was all smiles. Charlie had a small look of fear.

Tony walked right up to Charlie. No one said anything. "Charlie." Tony said. "I am so sorry for starting that fight. It was stupid and my anger had just got the better of me. I shouldn't have even been angry. You had a right to like Sophie, she was amazing. I think I'm just having a hard time dealing with her death. So I hope you can forgive me."

Charlie stood up and they did one of those guy hugs where they slap hand first. I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding in.

Levi laughed. "That was one hell of a fight though. In the rain!"

Tony laughed too. "The rain has stopped now."

"Let's go then." Emmie stood up.

"Where?" Ava asked.

"To that one place Sophie told Levi to go." Emmie said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Everyone agreed to go because the weather was now sunny. While they were putting on their shoes, I leaned up the stairs and yelled at my mom that we were going to the creek. She yelled a response that sounded like a yes. Even if it wasn't, I bet she was too hung-over to care.

As we walked outside, I took the lead down the street and everyone kind of followed. We started down the road that people didn't drive on unless they lived on that street; it felt like no one ever came out of their houses. Our positions changed as we walked. Charlie was having a conversation with Emmie. I saw Ava and Levi hang back a little bit, clearly into their own conversation. Tony was silent as he kind of walked near me. We walked down the middle of the street because no car comes this way. All of the sudden, Levi started to yell the lyrics of Call Me Maybe.

"I THREW A WISH IN THE WELL! DON'T ASK ME I'LL NEVER TELL! I LOOK TO YOU AS IT FELL! BUT NOW YOU'RE IN MY WAY!!!!" Levi yelled.

By the chorus we were all running and jumping and screaming the lyrics. Ava got on Tony's back, I started doing all sorts of dancer leaps, Charlie did a cartwheel. Levi saw that Emmie wasn't really happy looking so he ran over and picked her up. A small smile appeared on her face. We all ran around and laughed and sung and didn't give a care in the world. It was probably the first time I had actually had fun in weeks. I was laughing and walking backwards down the long street when I bumped into Charlie. he fell down and laughed. Since Charlie is shorter than me I kept walking backwards so I tripped over him. We both cracked up. Levi raced over and threw Emmie on top of us, sitting down too. Tony was walking and fell over Levi, bringing Ava down with him. We all ended up on the ground in the middle of the street. Eventually we stopped laughing and just sat there. I saw Charlie looking up, so I did too. Everyone followed my example. The sky was a blue that was so pure and so blue it was hard to describe. The clouds had sunlight streaming through them giving the sky an outer worldly effect.
