Percy POV

I followed Bruce into his lab, very self conscious about my scars and burns that litter my entire body. I try taking very slow steps but eventually he just grabs my arm and drags me to his lab, wanting to get this over with so he could get back to whatever he wants to do.

He opens and shuts the door after I grudgingly went in, looking around the lab that is crawling with machines and formula and other chemistry, biology stuff. He motions for me to sit on an examiner table while he grabbed some tools.

He came back with a notebook, a heart thing to listen to my heartbeat and some other stuff. He smiled reassuringly and settled on a chair in front of me. " So Percy I'm just going to check you up, listen to your heartbeat, check your weight, and some other stuff, " I nodded, still tugging on the helm of my shirt.

The first part wasn't bad, I told him what I was diagnosed to, dyslexia and ADHD, he also added some middle class PTSD, which I looked away and didn't answer when he asked what caused it. Next was if I was allergic to anything or if I was ever poisoned, that conversation kind of got off edge since I answered truthfully.

" Um, I'm not allergic to anything but I have been poisoned... four times, I think, " Bruce's pen that was in his mouth just fell out and rolled onto the ground as he stared at me, shocked and a little frightened maybe.

" What! but that wasn't on your file! " I shrugged, " I haven't seen my file, " I said, playing thumb war with well my thumbs. " Why didn't you go to the hospital or something! " he exclaimed, I sighed and looked straight into his dark brown eyes.

" It was an accident, I was stupid and dealt with it, end of story! " I kind of shouted the last part in anger, remembering how I trusted Luke and he just ended up almost killing me. Bruce gulped, trying to calm himself and me down, since I could see very faint traces of green veins on his neck.

" Okay, last thing, " I nodded for him to continue, glad to finally be over this and just go to the training room and work out, try to release the tension building up inside of me. " I need you to take off your shirt so I could check your heart rate, " suddenly I stopped nodding my head. No way in hades am I gonna take my shirt off.

" I can't, " I crossed my arms, protective of myself. Bruce looked at me strangely before narrowing his eyes. " Why not? " he asked me, suspiciously. I just shook my head and looked down, making sure that the ends of my shirt are secure with my hands so he doesn't try anything.

" Take off your shirt, it'l be over in a minute, " he assured, I again shook my head. " Not if you see whats underneath, " I muttered mostly to myself but it seemed like Bruce heard since he got up and took steps towards me. Oh no.

I was about to secure the shirt again when Bruce, with sudden agility and speed, yanked my shirt up and over my head, revealing the ugly scars and burns for him and anyone who walks in the room to see.

Bruce gasped, looking at all my injuries with wide-eyed horror. He touched a few of them, tracing them gently with his fingertips. I winced at a few of the ones which weren't fully healed and pushed him away, running towards the door.

I ran away to the room which was supposed to be mine according to Tony. I got in hurriedly and closed the door behind me, locking it so that Bruce or anybody else will not be able to come in. I heard his hurried footsteps approach and stop directly outside my door. He banged his hand on the wooden door, shouting at me to open up, but I didn't, I wouldn't.

Soon, multiple voices could be heard, protesting about the noise but died down after a few minutes, saying that Bruce explained to them about my scars, just great, fan-fricking- tastic. After that all of them were banging on the door, shouting death threats if I don't open the door, demands to open the door and begs to open the door, afraid of braking the expensive polished oak wood door, I think you figured out who said what.

It took a while but eventually the noise died down. They probably gave up and left, but will probably keep an eye out if I do get out, which will not be anytime soon. Sighing, I went towards the windowsill, lied sown and just stared at the bright blue sky, letting my thoughts cloud my mind and eventually falling asleep.
