Chapter 12

Kiara POV

I walked upstairs to put my bag up and walk back down to see mom working in her designer and Tati she somewhere. "Hey Kiara?" I heard mom say. "Yes?" I said sitting right next to here in the kitchen. "Would you like to meet some of the rest of the family, you only meet your aunt?" She asked me looking up from her designer book. I nodded my head yes. "Great give me 10 minutes and we can leave, can you go tell your sister?" "Where is she?" I asked. "Outside in the back." With that said I ran out in the backyard. There was big built in pool, beautiful flowers everywhere, and a tree house with a ladder attached. "Wow...." Was all I could manage to say.
   Knowing my sister was in the tree house I climbed up and walk inside. It was huge, there was a spot for the snacks with a mini refrigerator, toys, book, coloring stuff, games, chairs, and a window in the front. On the door was a keep out sign. I laughed and saw Tati there coloring. "Nice treehouse!" I could tell I gave her a little scare. She looked up from her book and smiled. "Remember, this is ours we use to play in here all the time." She frowned thinking I probably didn't remember. I sat next to her. "Yeah, I remember. You got so angry cause you couldn't stay up late and ran in here. I found you the next morning and mom and dad was mad." I continue with the memory of me and my sister's time we spent in this treehouse. We both laughed.
  She hugged me whispering, "I'm glad you're back." I smiled hugging her back. "Oh yeah I almost forgot mom wanted me to get you. She's wanting me to meet the rest of the family." I said. "Okay! I'll race you." She said already making her way down the ladder. "Cheater!!" I yelled following behind. I could hear her laughing. I took a short cut and ended up by the door with mom waiting. Then Tati. "I won!" I said with a big grin on my face. "But.....but..ugh." I laughed at her. Mom smiled at us, "Okay girls let's go." We all walked into the car and mom started driving. "Where to first?" I asked mom curious. "First is your grandparents, my mom and dad. You can meet you Uncle Austin while we there." Mom said pulling into their driveway. "Okay." I was a little scared but at the same time excited to meet grandma and grandpa again.
  Mom knocked on the door and grandma answered. "Danielle!" Grandma said hugging mom. She hug Tatianna next and looked at me. She had her hand over her mouth in shocked. "Kiara..." Was all she could manage to say. "Hi grandma...." She walked over to me and gave me a big hug crying. I missed her too. I hug back and we broke apart. She looked at mom and mom looked at her smiling. "Come in!" She said closing the door behind us. Grandpa walked our of the kitchen. "I knew I heard my little girl name." Grandpa aid hugging mom. Me and Tatiana laughed. "Hey grandpa!!" Tati said hugging him. He hug back. "Dad this is Kiara." Mom said. He starred at me, then to mom, and grandma. "I don't believe it!!" He said hugging me tightly. "Can.....Can't..... Breath." He laughed letting me go. Then Uncle Austin came running downstairs. He was 16, brown rough hair, brown eyes, with a plain black shirt, pants, with nothing but socks on his feet. He was handsome.
  "Hey hey big sis." He said hugging mom. She laughed and said, "Hey Austin." "Uncle Austin!!" Tati said running to give him a big hug. "Hey little midget!" He said tickling her. She started laughing which made me smile. He stop when he saw me. "Kiara!!!" He said picking me up hugging me. I can see he was strong too. I laughed and he put me down.

Mrs. Hartley POV

Me and my parents are at the kitchen table talking while the girls and Austin was playing. We saw Austin carrying the girls on his shoulder running around with them while they were laughing, enjoying theirselves. We laughed. He's really good with kids. "So, how did you find her!?" My father said wanted to know how I got my baby girl back. "Carl called me and told me she was adopted in California, the Belangers family and he could give me a week with her." I said starring at Kiara smiling. "She's not staying for good?!" My mom said in complete shock. "I want her to, but she haves to decided by the end of this week." He face expression changed to shock to relieved. While me and my parents caught up it was time to go. I told them I wanted let her meet the rest of the family before it gets late. They understood. "Its time to go girls!" I said standing by the door waiting. I heard groans. "Do we have to go?" Kiara asked I smiled knowing she was enjoying herself. "Yes, your cousins and Aunts and Uncles are just waiting to meet you." She smiled nodding her head OK. We all said our goodbyes leaving with hugs and kisses. We got into the car and started our ride to my friends and family houses.
